Fantastic location, with a gracious and very welcoming hostess. The rooms are beautiful and boutique style, clearly no expense spared to make your stay as homely as possible. The breakfast too it wonderful, and it being served in your room makes it feel very homely. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting Whitby.

On arrival it was great to be able to park the car in a private area next to the property. We were made to feel very welcome and found our room to be of a good size, comfortable and clean. The room's en-suite facilities were small but quite adequate and there were toiletries and hairdryer provided. There was a kettle and a good choice of hot drinks in the room along with fresh milk. It was nice to have a dining table in the room and for breakfast we enjoyed the good selection of fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals followed by the treat of a cooked (vegetarian) breakfast every day, delicious! The road is quite busy but we were not bothered by traffic noise. It is a 10 minute walk into town, uphill on the way back! Pannett Park is very close and well worth a visit for the gardens and lovely views.

Perfect stay for the Weekend. Room very large and spotlessly clean, Breakfast served in the room, Cereals, Tea, Coffee and extras first. This was followed by the Cooked Breakfast which was brilliant. Our host could not do enough for us,
