We stayed 2 nights in room 5 this weekend. The view, so amazing! A nice clean comfortable room. Would gladly return. The bathroom was a little small but when staying 2 nights it hardly matters. 100% cotton sheets were much appreciated. Noise from the bar could be heard, but didn't go on all night, and if you cant beat them,...

We stayed here for 2 nights for my husbands 40th birthday. We were in room 1 and we're surprised to find that access to the room was not from inside the pub, but around the corner and on the harbour side through French doors. We thought this was great, being able to go straight out on the the harbour side...

I think it's in need of a little TLC It's looking a little tired It's always been a good pub and eating house, we didn't eat here this time - it just needs a lick of paint Atmosphere is still good and the view from the bar over the harbour is so nice

This place was everything we wished for in that we wanted a quiet out of the way place to spend a few days with views of the harbour in Whitby. The room was clean, the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the food was good and the whole atmosphere enabled us to experience Whitby in a relaxed way which was...

We came here after a nice ramble through whitby. Upon entering we were greeted by lovely friendly staff happy to help and hold a conversation with me ( which is quite a rare occurrence being a 18 year old lad) Brilliant location over looking the sea And bay. Definitely recommend.
