Stayed at the Arundel House on the 27th. Very welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Only a short walk into the town centre. Informed the breakfast was gorgeous but was too hungover to sample for myself, maybe next time.

A short walk from town - maybe 10 minutes max from the station, this friendly place will welcome you with reasonable prices and a hearty breakfast. En suites in the single rooms are tiny - in fact so are the single rooms, but if it only a bed for the night you are after, it fits the bill. And just...

We stayed on the evening of 9.1.2017. We were well received by the owners and treated very well indeed. The room was spacious and clean. Tea facilities were on hand with plenty of milk and sugar. The toilet was en suite and clean and tidy. TV on the wall. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well indeed....

Very relaxed and comfy stay. Owners helpful and accommodating. Close to the town. Limited parking. Info in the room very useful. Gives a little history too which was interesting & informative. Breakfast was pleasant with a decent choice. Bar available but quite pricey. Secure access late at night but no problems with this. Would stay there again.

A wonderful old house, remade to look regal and feel luxurious. We stayed in a beautifully appointed suite with a stunning en-suite bathroom. A four poster bed made the whole weekend feel even more special and cozy. In the suite there was an original fireplace and a view all the way down to the old town, the abbey, the sea...

Stayed here for 4 nights a couple of weeks ago, only just got round to writing this review. Really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast is fantastic - sets you up for some long walks with the dog which is what we did every day. Scott is very knowledgeable on the area and helped us with guide books, a nice touch. Our...

We stayed here last night for a Whitby night out. What a lovely place it was. The reception was friendly, the whole place clean and fresh. The bed in our room was possibly the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The breakfast this morning was excellent. Choice of juices, and choice of food. All cooked very well. The only downside...

Chose this hotel as it's apparently the second most haunted hotel in Whitby!! No ghostly appearances for our visit, but still a lovely visit. Parking might be an issue but we managed to get a spot outside. The room was lovely and cosy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious - couldn't have asked for more. Lovely...
