Chose this hotel as it's apparently the second most haunted hotel in Whitby!! No ghostly appearances for our visit, but still a lovely visit. Parking might be an issue but we managed to get a spot outside. The room was lovely and cosy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious - couldn't have asked for more. Lovely... More

Once again a very comfortable stay at the Arundel House Hotel, as this was our fourth time of having a short break with them. The staff were very welcoming, the food delicious and the room very comfortable.

I have just returned from a weekend stay at this lovely B&B. The hosts Rachel & Scott we welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. The front of house service at breakfast was excellent & the specials offered added that "extra" touch, although the full english certainly set you up for the day. The recommendation of a restaurant for the... More

Brilliant place. Absolutely the best for friendliness, breakfast, cleanliness and the host is brilliantly entertaining. Location is great too near enough to be accessible out enough to be quiet. Loved it

I visited on the edge of the busy season as the weather turned sharper, but the welcome was warm and the central heating too. The outside was necessarily in period, but facilities inside were fresh and comfortable. Few staff, but efficiently used so that nothing was a mystery or too much trouble. They allowed pets (with warning) and careful rules,... More

Stayed here 3 times in the past few years and each time has been wonderful. Always a friendly welcome from the owner and cannot recommend it more. Breakfast was great and the free parking was an added bonus too.

On main route into town so easy to find but not noisy location.Lovely quiet spotlessly clean 4-poster room overlooking garden which has seating and outside dining area. Very helpful and congenial hosts. Excellent breakfast: my smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was garnished with caviar! Short, level walk to station, harbour and shops. Our dog was made most welcome. Highly recommended.
