We had one night in this lovely guest house and couldn't find fault with anything. We had a sea view room which was great our little dog was made welcome and breakfast was brought to our room even the weather was good to us. We will definitely return in the near future.

Great location and free parking. We had a lovely big room at front of building over looking the sea. Definitely worth paying extra for a sea view. They serve breakfast in room, which is a new experience for me but worked well. Room had everything you needed and the family who run it were friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay... More

Booked this as a last minute break . Stayed in the Tudor room which was OK . Would have preferred a sea view but it was the last room available. Found the bathroom rather compact and didn't like the authentic "Tudor " drain smell in the mornings. The proprietor was lovely ,very friendly and full of helpful advice about where... More

We booked for my parents wedding anniversary. My husband and I have been many times before. We chose our favourite room, the French room and my parents chose the Woodland room. Lovely as ever. Wonderful owners. Relaxed and friendly. Lovely breakfasts too

We spent the May bank holiday weekend in Whitby and booked into this charming guesthouse. It has a great location on the top of the cliffs facing out to sea, but only a few minutes walk downhill to the very heart of the town. The family that runs it were helpful and friendly. Our room was amazing - absolutely huge... More

Booked the day before for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we had a seaview room. The room was fantastic - very large, all the facilities, a great view and good value for money. Breakfast in the room was a bonus. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

Located close to the Whale Jaw arch overlooking Whitby Pavilion. We stopped 2 nights without previously booking and were shown a lovely room overlooking the sea. The views were excellent. The only downside was that it was on the 4th floor without a lift. Breakfast is served I the room and needs to be ordered the previous evening. The service... More

We were recommended this hotel by another frequent traveller to Whitby. They told us of large beautifully furnished rooms and huge bathrooms with roll top baths and huge shower cubicles We booked at short notice the last room left, the Hollywood. It was a small room at the back of the hotel. We were told on booking that there was... More

My Husband and I have just returned home from a two night break at this hotel. The hotel is lovely and very clean. The people there are very nice and polite and very helpful. Our room was the butterflies room (4) it was beautiful, very clean and spacious. The only downside was the bed itself, very hard mattress, having said... More
