The window in our bedroom (Dracula room) would not open, we were told they had been painted shut for years. There was a small desk fan but I found the room uncomfortably stuffy at night as I always sleep with the window open for fresh air. There is no shower in the bathroom (down the hall) just a bath with...

The b&b was really welcoming and quirky with Dracula memorabilia everywhere. The house has a very unusual set up which lends to the mystery. Rooms very cosy and plent to keep you entertained. Very personal service, lovely breakfast.

Unique, themed B&B. Four poster beds, breakfast in the dungeon, fabulous decor throughout - a truly novel experience. The breakfasts are to die for and the host is very friendly with the typical dry Yorkshire sense of humour. Will certainly be booking here again!

Stayed in the Lunar room in my second visit. It was just as amazing as the Solar room. Breakfast was even better than I remember and saved us buying lunch we were so full! Kev was very hospitable! Best place to stay in Whitby, even if you don't consider yourself gothy!

Fantastic themed guest house close to the centre of Whitby, with a gothic theme. Very quirky, friendly and comfortable. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and the breakfasts were wonderful. Our room had a gorgeous four poster bed, as well as all the usual home comforts. A lovely weekend.

My husband and I stayed here last Wednesday/Thursday for his birthday. We had a fantastic time. The room was great - witches (one of which looked spookily like ... Whoops, better not say, she might be reading this) - bats, skulls - fab attention to detail. The veggie breakfast was wonderful - best I have ever had - and my...

This was our first time staying in Whitby and I chose bats and broomsticks due to it's location it's a 15 min walk from the harbour and it's near the train and bus station so it was perfect for us as we travelled by train to get there. The place is spotlessly clean and all the rooms have lovely decor to...
