Lovely hotel, nice grounds. pleasant location. Our room had a shower attached to the bath taps but no shower cubicle/curtains so difficult to shower without making a mess. Overall, room was comfortable. My advice to anyone staying would be to make your menu choices for dinner on arrival. They don't issue menu's when booking. We were asked to accept a... More

Whilst visiting Whitby, saw an ad for Dunsley Hall in the Gazette. Looked good & great value. Unfortunately we had already eaten but visited in the evening. Stunning setting, friendly, helpful staff. Decided on drinks & a dessert in the bar. Excellent liqueur coffee and the Chocolate Trio was just lovely. Will visit again.

We took advantage of the Sunday lunch offer of 3 courses for 2 people at a cost of £24.95. It was worth the drive, the staff were friendly and professional. We ate in the lovely restaurant, set with linen cloths and napkins and the food was very enjoyable. My only complaint was that I was asked how I like my... More

We stayed here for one night as we had a wedding to attend nearby. We only booked in for B & B and at £169 a night you expect top quality! We had the top room in the loft space (not great if your tall like we are and have to crouch under the door!) but we were happy with... More

Garden rooms were excellent and nicely fitted out. A family outing for an 80th birthday went a bit awry at dinner. Young staff had very little knowledge of the menu- what soup is it- I'll go check- what's in the salad- I'll go check Didn't have the heart to ask a third question after the tooing and frying. Starters ok... More

Stayed for a night in this beautiful hotel. On arrival we were shown to our room which was beautiful and had a four poster bed. The staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and evening meal good, husband said his steak cooked perfectly. Would certainly visit again.
