We were made to feel welcome at this working farm. Tea and cake revived us after a long walk during our Coast to Coast trip. Comfortable rooms in this family home are simple but just what we needed. We enjoyed a delicious roast dinner served by our hosts with everybody loving the Yorkshire puddings! Breakfast was delicious and we said... More

A working farm, 10 minute walk from the hamlet of Littlebeck. Judith, our hostess, welcomed us with tea, chocolate cake and a friendly conversation. We felt like part of the family. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed relaxing in the sitting room reading a variety of books on the area including the C2C walk. The home cooked roast... More

Stayed here on the final night of coast to coast. Greeted by Judith the farmer's wife who could not have made us feel any more welcome. Spent an hour in the farmhouse kitchen eating homemade cake and drinking tea / coffee. Joined later by farmer husband who just like his wife was happy to chat. Shown upstairs to a very... More

If you are looking for luxury modern accommodation with all the mod cons and privacy don't stay here. This is a a working farm, and the accommodation is in the farmhouse. There is a communal dining room and lounge with lots of interesting books and a TV. You will receive a warm welcome from Judith and be force fed tea... More

We stayed here as we were let down by another B&B, this is a working farm and the house is decorated in typical Farmhouse style. The hosts are very friendly and we were all made to feel welcome. Judith also looked after our dog Charlie whilst we went to the NYMR Pullman during the evening too which was really kind... More

If you are looking for luxury modern accommodation with all the mod cons don't stay here. If however you would like to stay on a working farm, in a home away from home, with an abundance of hearty home cooked food with a warm and welcoming hostess then we can thoroughly recommend Intake farm. Thank you for having us Judith!

We stayed with Judith at Intake Farm on the final night of our Coast to Coast Walk. She greeted us with tea and cake in the courtyard and was happy to chat with us prior to showing us our rooms. Our double room was very comfortable with a reasonable en-suite and excellent views across open countryside and the start of... More

Extremely welcoming and kind hosts, greeted with a cup of tea and cake. Fantastic to stay on a proper working farm and learn about the area. Huge bedroom, with lots of opening windows. Judith has a knack of making you feel like part of the family. Thank you for your kindness.

What else could you ask after a day's efforts than a welcome from Judith? The place is amazing, showers are excellent and the food is superb. After a nice night rest an also most excellent breakfast is the ideal way to continue the hike.

Super welcoming creating with tea and cake. Great views across Littlebeck. Lovely home cooked dinner and dessert. Huge breakfast selection. Great packed lunch. Very pretty farm house. I camped on the lawn, but was welcome to use the house at other times. Nice shower. At night you have access to a toilet/washbasin only.
