You'd be hard pushed to find a warmer welcome - even though we stayed in some lovely places along the C2C route, and met some fantastic hosts, Judith wins the award for the loveliest of the lot. We were greeted with pots of tea and home-made flap-jacks before being shown to our very big, very comfortable rooms. Intake Farm is... More

My wife and I stayed here a week ago when we were walking the Coast to Coast trail. Upon meeting Judith, we were immediately put at ease by her warmth and hospitality. She sat us down at her kitchen table and gave us a cup of tea. We felt like part of her family. The bedroom was super spacious and... More

We enjoyed one night with Judy and Robert as our hosts at Intake Farm. Her home cooked meal for our 3 couples plus a genuine desire to to make us feel at home meant that we could really relax before our final walk to Robin Hoods Bay. We supplemented our dinner with wine we brought with us which Judy gladly... More

A final break before the end of the Coast 2 Coast turned out to be one of the best stays of the walk. Very warm welcome to this delightful home on a working farm . Very comfortable room and beds and nothing seemed too much trouble for our host Judith. Dinner needs to be organised beforehand as there is no... More

On our recent Coast to Coast walk, we chose to stay at Intake Farm in Littlebeck so that we could savor the last 11-mile walk into Robin Hood's Bay. We were a party of 3, our son having joined us for the last two days of walking. We occupied two bedrooms so that the bathroom across the hall was effectively... More

We were made to feel welcome at this working farm. Tea and cake revived us after a long walk during our Coast to Coast trip. Comfortable rooms in this family home are simple but just what we needed. We enjoyed a delicious roast dinner served by our hosts with everybody loving the Yorkshire puddings! Breakfast was delicious and we said... More

A working farm, 10 minute walk from the hamlet of Littlebeck. Judith, our hostess, welcomed us with tea, chocolate cake and a friendly conversation. We felt like part of the family. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed relaxing in the sitting room reading a variety of books on the area including the C2C walk. The home cooked roast... More

Stayed here on the final night of coast to coast. Greeted by Judith the farmer's wife who could not have made us feel any more welcome. Spent an hour in the farmhouse kitchen eating homemade cake and drinking tea / coffee. Joined later by farmer husband who just like his wife was happy to chat. Shown upstairs to a very... More

If you are looking for luxury modern accommodation with all the mod cons and privacy don't stay here. This is a a working farm, and the accommodation is in the farmhouse. There is a communal dining room and lounge with lots of interesting books and a TV. You will receive a warm welcome from Judith and be force fed tea... More

We stayed here as we were let down by another B&B, this is a working farm and the house is decorated in typical Farmhouse style. The hosts are very friendly and we were all made to feel welcome. Judith also looked after our dog Charlie whilst we went to the NYMR Pullman during the evening too which was really kind... More
