Positives: 1. Lovely, professional waitress 2. Cod goujons and mussels were very tasty Negatives: 1. Charmless barman - no smile, no manners 2. Sticky tables. When I asked for our table to be cleaned we were met with a scowl. 3. Menu overpriced for 'tapas' style food. Just do normal portions! 4. 'Medium' steak overcooked 5. 'Fajitas' served with what... The roll top bath (in the Moet Suite), bathroom, furniture and it was no surprise that the bed had high quality bedding, mattress... More

We had been to Harry's restaurant on a previous trip to Whitby and found that there was accommodation as well, so booked on line. The room was lovely (Bollinger), all rooms have views of the harbour, so relaxing to look out at all times of day. The bathroom was large, taking up some available space which could have made the... A nice place to stay, recommended to us. A quite unique room above the restaurant . Lovely claw foot bath, great modern shower and well decorated room. Very comfortable bed. Exposed beams nice feel. Quite a few stairs to reach the room. The tv kept pixelating and the advertised WIFI did not work at all upstairs. (Only in the downstairs... More

My husband and I have just come back from a 3 night break. We booked through booking.com at the best rate available (£155 per night) and we weren't disappointed, it's a little gem. The staff are a real credit to Harry's, nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely come back AND recommend to anyone thinking of a romantic... More
