Everything you need as far as the facilities are concerned, friendly relaxed site. Location great for walks to Whitby and Sandsend, fabulous views over Whitby Golf Club to the sea, will definitely stay again.

My friends and I stayed at this lovely site recently from Monday to Friday The site was lovely and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere and the location was ideal for us as we went sightseeing up the coast to Redcar and down the coast to Hornsea. The caravan was really lovely with comfortable beds, a great shower and central heating... More

Me and my partner have just returned from a long weekend of camping here and I couldn't really fault the camping facilities. I wasn't expecting a great deal when I booked but there was a small building with washing machines, microwaves, a fridge and freezer as well as some small lock boxes to charge your mobile phone in. The showers... More

(Camping) Ok first, if you want a quiet get away from it all campsite, then this will not be the site. If you want sociable, have a chat with the neighbours (and a drink or two) do not mind dogs or kids running around enjoying themselves then read on. We camped on the bottom field with lovely views towards the... More

We stayed here in August this year. The weather was brilliant, the caravan was beautiful and everything we could want and more. We even had the pleasure of watching the Calf's been born in the field behind our van. Will be going back for sure. Maxine and Derek are very welcoming and lovely. Thanks the Williams Family

This farm has had to diversify to make money I imagine. The views are astonishingly good. We've stopped here a few times with our tourer and will certainly be back again. They have an easy, relaxed approach and even though we arrived on Friday they didn't come round for the fees until Sunday morning (we were part of a club... More

Stayed here whilst walking the Cleveland way. Not too far walk from Whitby or Sandsend. Basic facilities but very friendly. Use of washer and dryer and plenty pot washing. Free showers which is always a bonus! The owner also kindly offered us some chairs for the evening as we were packed light and recommended a good pitch to look out... More

We camped for a long weekend here a fortnight ago, what a fantastic location! This campsite is on a working farm with three separate fields. We stayed on the 'bottom field' which overlooks the sea and golf course with views over to Whitby and the Abbey. However, it meant that we were far away from the facilities, which in itself... More

Had another lovely family holiday at High Straggleton. Same as last year we stopped in one of the farms own on site static caravans. The owners supplied us with a cracking brand new gas barbecue for our stay. The caravan was perfect and the location is ideal for us. We will be back again next year.
