This farm has had to diversify to make money I imagine. The views are astonishingly good. We've stopped here a few times with our tourer and will certainly be back again. They have an easy, relaxed approach and even though we arrived on Friday they didn't come round for the fees until Sunday morning (we were part of a club... More

Stayed here whilst walking the Cleveland way. Not too far walk from Whitby or Sandsend. Basic facilities but very friendly. Use of washer and dryer and plenty pot washing. Free showers which is always a bonus! The owner also kindly offered us some chairs for the evening as we were packed light and recommended a good pitch to look out... More

We camped for a long weekend here a fortnight ago, what a fantastic location! This campsite is on a working farm with three separate fields. We stayed on the 'bottom field' which overlooks the sea and golf course with views over to Whitby and the Abbey. However, it meant that we were far away from the facilities, which in itself... More

Had another lovely family holiday at High Straggleton. Same as last year we stopped in one of the farms own on site static caravans. The owners supplied us with a cracking brand new gas barbecue for our stay. The caravan was perfect and the location is ideal for us. We will be back again next year.

Blessed with amazing weather some days.... shared a great week with family and friends on the site relaxing in the sun and down at the beach. Sandsend and Whitby both within walking distance but my favourite place is still the walk down to the beach. Sea, waves, sand, and hopefully sun = happy days! 😆

We booked to go here just for one night just for a short break. The directions were very good. We weren't disappointed with the view. When we arrived we were met by Ian who was very helpful in sorting us out a pitch. Derek the owner came over to help and as the ground was quite soft he sorted out... More

Fab campsite one of our favourite spots it's a working farm but it's got all you need for a campsite. Whitby is just a short stroll away or sands end a short stroll the opposite way we took our dog the beach walks are fantastic

We visited along with some friends with our touring caravan, having missed the entrance and going some way up the very narrow road, until some locals advised us of our error we found the entrance and approached the farm entrance. This is a full working dairy farm and its surroundings reflect this, so don't be alarmed as it is not... More
