We stopped at Red House Farm during our walk of the coast to coast. A great B and B full of character and charm. A really friendly welcome on arrival and delicious breakfast the next morning, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

Loved this place from the moment we arrived and were served homemade blueberry muffins with tea / coffee. Karen (the hostess) was friendly, welcoming and full of useful tips. We were due to go to a concert and Karen had even worked out the start time and was helpful with some places to eat beforehand. There is a great pub... More

"Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful" That's how I feel about Red House Farm. We were in Glaisdale for a funeral and it was seriously cold outside, thereby confirming my southern prejudices about Yorkshire (lovely people, great scenery, dreadful climate). We had come from Surrey, with our friend Paul who had travelled from the... More

We stayed in the Threshing Barn with our dog for 3 nights. The cottage was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable and cosy with stunning views. The location of the Red House Farm is idyllic. Sandra and Tom were great - very friendly and very helpful. We would love to return.

I have stayed here before whilst walking through, once again I was delighted and impressed. This is a lovely, historic building full of antique furniture, quirky and unique. Sandra and Tom (the breakfast chef!) are perfect hosts. Comfortable room, very quiet, topped off by an outstandingly good breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble for Sandra and the tea and biscuits... 6th stay at this idyllic location, and it was perfect as ever. Wonderful hosts, total comfort and great breakfasts, fabulous peace and quiet. Ate as always at the Arncliffe Arms, always good food but this time was the best it has ever been. So, Red House Farm and the Arncliffe Arms - a double winning formula !

My partner and I recently enjoyed an overnight stay at Red House Farm. We were pleased at the fantastic location and beautiful buildings upon arrival and were greeted warmly by Sandra. Our double room was very quaint and picturesque, we had the bathroom to ourselves and couldn't of asked for more room wise. We went to the Arncliffe Arms just... More

We spent 1 night at Red House Farm 3 years ago, near the end of the epic Coast to Coast walk. Sandra & Tom's hospitality - and breakfast! - and the beauty of the surrounding area made us swear we'd come back one day. This time around we stayed for 4 nights, and Sandra & Tom provided the same profoundly... More
