Lovely place with friendly staff .spotlessly clean. Would stay again. We stayed in annex which has alot of steep stairs but lovely big room. Close to beach just 4 min walk but far enough away for some peace n quiet.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. We had a lovely room overlooking the park. The bathroom was spotless and the room very spacious and comfortable. The house itself is lovely and very tastefully done. The parking was a bit tight so we parked on the road but that would not put us off staying there again. All in all a very... More

Fabulous B&B, only a few mins walk into the town centre and right opposite the park. We stayed in the room above the garage (separate annexe) at the top of the garden. The room itself is comfortable with ensuite facilties. The only downside was that because it was above the garage the windows were in the roof so there wasn't... More

There are only 3 very inconvenient parking spaces for the 5 rooms - pick somewhere else to stay. Otherwise you might be faced with a long walk to your car, not to mention the cost/worry of using the nearest car park which is a long walk away.

Had a great stay at Big Sky. We stayed in the annex. Lovely clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good quality and Brian was friendly and welcoming. Great to have off road parking. Ideal location for visiting Whitby. Only slight gripe was there was no hand wash at the basin. We will definitely be returning. Wouldn't hesitate... More

To start I would like to say the owner Brian was a very friendly man,the breakfast was very good, and the place was about Four minute walk into town, very good location, The B and B was very clean. Now for the downsides,we booked a superior room,I'm afraid how do you define superior? We were disappointed with the room, I have been... More

Big Sky B & B is situated only a short downhill walk into Whitby centre but don't forget it's an uphill walk back later! However it's really not a steep hill. We stayed in the annex and the hotel does clearly state steps to up to the annex room but don't underestimate these where carrying up your luggage. It’s certainly... More

Just returned from a three night stay as a family of four at this real gem of a place. When we arrived we where greeted by a guy by the name of Brian, who turned out to be a legend of a host. The place itself is a very impressive eighteenth century house and with the benefit of off road... More

We have just stayed at The Bue Sky for 3 nights. Brian the lovely guy that owns the place put us in his annexe which is a studio apartment over his garage at the top of his very steep garden. We dubbed it The Crows Nest. It was so lovely and peaceful and private up there and the bed was... More
