Pleasant stay staff very friendly, hotel nice and clean. Only criticism no air conditioning in rooms fans were provided but they just circulated warm air. Far to hot in rooms felt like I was in the tropics. To hot to sleep well. After reading the reviews were aware that the rooms were going to be hot so come on premier inn... More

I went to the premier inn in Duke street last week. I stayed 6 days and I was very impressed by the staff. They try their best to make your stay very pleasant. The only minus point I would give is because their is no air con in the rooms. But there were fans. That helped a lot. Food was... More

Friendly helpful staff, good value room and breakfast. No air conditioning though if its very hot- better not to be on an upper floor. A fan was provided though. It was cool on the ground floor. Clean and adequate place to stay.

I've stayed here several times before on business and always choose Premier Inn when I can due to the comfort of the beds and the overall service. However, the lack of air con makes this place a no-go on a summer's night. It's been no more than 25C outside today but my room is like an oven. Two sturdy fans... More

I had the misfortune to stay in this hotel on Sunday night, 17th July. Yes, it had been a warm day, but to say the room was an oven isn't over-cooking it... It was clear that Premier Inn thought so too - as two very large electric fans were in the room at the foot of the bed when I... More

Premier Inns do a good job. However don't book if you can avoid it, in warm weather because the rooms are not air-conditioned and the non-oscillating fans are as useful as a chocolate teapot. Even in the UK this makes for a room that on entering is like walking into a fan heater.

We have visited the inn a number of times but this visit has been exhausting. I'm sure when we've visited in the past the was aircon. But not anymore, we have three fans on 24/7. We leave the curtains closed and it's still like an oven when we return. It's great to have lovely weather when you're anyway. Hope a... More

We stopped here when going to the Norwich Gin Festival. It provided the perfect base from which to enjoy the event, then to explore the city in the evening and find some dinner. Parking is subsidised, very convenient and turned out to be a bit of a bargain. We heard complaints about the lack of air con, but to be... More

Stayed for one night with friends. Rooms are beautiful, clean and comfy although quite hot. Fan had been left on and it cooled down eventually. Had some drinks in the bar before going out, Ross on the front desk couldn't have been more helpful, advising us where to go and ordering our taxis and Connor and Tasha were very pleasant... More

We have stayed here before and never had a problem, however there is no air con and the room was majorly hot. We noticed the heat as we walked in after checking in, kept the fan n and window open when we went out for the evening, this didnt help at all. Have emailed for a refund, and wont be... More
