Warm & friendly welcome. Very large & comfortable room with huge en-suite bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed. Good off road parking. Be aware that it is situated up a fairly steep hill about 15 mins walk from the city centre. Easy going down, not so easy walking back!

It's BSB weekend so hotels in the area are pretty expensive. We got 3 nights for under £100 a night so not bad. It's not fancy, the furniture doesn't match and the rooms can be quite dark. The beds (we could only get a twin room) were a frame type and felt a little cheap. The bathroom could do with... More

Somewhere to get clean, reasonably priced drinks, great bubbly atmosphere, couldn't feel more at home in my own home... 10/10. Lovely people, lovely rooms. Stunning home cooked meals. This is the place for the best of us. Nothing but happy days guys.

Very nice place to stay - owners very welcoming - great breakfast and only a short walk to city centre - booked my employees in and they loved it - have stayed in Norwich alot and wish I had found this place a bit sooner as I would highly recommend it - very reasonably priced

But not a problem certainly for the price. A bit of a schlepp into the City Centre - OK going in, its all downhill. But the reverse......particularly after a few drinks. A taxi might be in order. Didn't particularly like the location of the room which was nominally on the ground floor but in this part of the building the... More

I was visiting a friend who stays nearby and opted for a 2 night stay here. The hotel suited me perfectly to come and go as i please, staff are friendly and welcoming. Its a stones throw from the center, very cheap, clean spacious room with free parking and a beer tap within easy access. Id recommend it to anyone... More

Ive stayed here on 3 separate occasions since June 2015. I have to say it's perfect for the price they charge. The rooms are clean and well stocked, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make u as comfortable as possible. The breakfast are great and if you don't want one they will make you a... Arrived at 10pm to find a Christmas Party and Karaoke in full swing. After a 5 hour drive I dumped my bag, ordered a glass of wine and joined in Ian and Nathan were warm, friendly, welcoming and excellent hosts. I had a great night. The room was warm and comfortable (number 3). Lovely large bathroom with everything I needed.... More

A conundrum of a spot this place. Classic British bar/hotel with warm and friendly welcome and that hectic 80s/90s/00s mixed decor look that so many of the best pubs have in the UK. Located roughly a 10min slightly hilly walk from the Odeon and city centre. We stayed over in one of the guest rooms and eating the delicious full... More

Stayed here again 20th December after a night out in the city, pleasant accommodating staff & hosts, spacious room and comfortable bed. Enjoyable breakfast with good selection. Close to amenities although steep hill if you're walking back. Love this place!
