The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We were told we were the last guests as the B&B is closing and will open again as a holiday let.

We stayed at the Hairy Pig B&B in June and it was the best break we've had. Thanks to Ellie and Richard who were wonderful hosts and took their time to make our holiday memorable. Really good breakfast and a touch of nature(watching the wild birds in the garden) made for a relaxing stay. The Kune Kune pigs were adorable...

The hairy pig was a fantastic find. Out in the countryside its peaceful and a great place to unwind. The rooms are fantastically clean and comfortable. Its only a short way from a pub and shops. Feeding the pigs was a highlight of our stay as was the friendliness was great. A really great breakfast in the conservatory

Comfortable B&B in a lovely location. Great breakfast. The owners keep chickens, for eggs and pigs - pets only - all set in a countryside location so very peaceful and relaxing. Very good shower and a fridge outside the rooms which is so useful for keeping own stuff. All facilities needed were provided. Very happy guests.

This was our second visit to the Hairy Pig, the first being our wedding weekend. Our return was for our second wedding anniversary and the quality of service, room and the attention to detail was excellent. The feeling of returning home through the hosts welcome was great and another opportunity to feed the Kune Kune pigs was great for the...

I can only echo the comments made by other guests. The standard of the room was excellent - spacious, clean and very quiet. Everything was laid on: kettle with coffee and tea (several kinds), TV, including radio - even WiFi, which we found very helpful. Lots of thoughtful friendly touches, like providing a corkscrew and glasses, and a vase of...

The Hairy Pig B&B is just an old barn really, in the grounds of a semi-detached house with extra land at the back where the owners keep their own hens and kune kune pigs - ugly but curiously attractive beasts. The barn has been converted into two spacious en-suite rooms; nicely furnished, clean as a whistle and well looked after....
