A very tired hotel in need of updating and not the most friendly reception staff. Good free car parking and a decent location in the city. Evening meals were good but breakfast was very poor. Pricey compared to other secure Hotels.
This room was booked by my company so I didn’t have any choice but to stay here I have been told some of the rooms are very nice but some of the rooms have got black mild on the curtains and on the walls around the windows the carpets are thread bear in some rooms I have stayed in but room 22 is probably the best room I have stayed in over the past 18 months and I stay there for 6 months of the year but if I had to pay for my accommodation I would not stay there.
I liked the size of the room, however, some services were overpriced. There was nice trampoline centre over the road, which was handy with kids. The swimming pool was ok as well and relatively large. I had trouble to get a taxi there as well.
Booked here by Golfbreaks with 6 girlfriends . Situated on a trading Estate by very busy road. Rooms small, very dated, windows and frames mouldy. inadequate supplies in room to wash and breakfast, due to Covid was pathetic and delivered to outside your door. Only positive thing was the staff were friendly and helpful. Complaints made but Hotel management not interested.
Clean hotel although rather dated compared to Mercure hotels in other cities, no safe, no fridge, no iron - covid-19 restrictions meant we only interacted with the reception Manager as facilities in the hotel were shut - very quick to provide ice, extra towels when requested. Rooms only cleaned before guests arrive & after guests leave so rubbish bins get full quickly, toiletries only replenished if requested.
