I stayed in this hotel for 1 night while visiting family for a hen party. I do stay in lots of hotels due to my job and all I can really say about this place is below average standard. Room was clean and a decent size, on the down side it was absolutely boiling hot. After a 5 1/2 hour...

I found this hotel suitable as a wheelchair user to get around it was easy to check in the staff was very polite & professional. The rooms were very clean had a fantastic wet room with grab rails & a seat on the wall with the shower. Room was very spacious with interconnecting room where my son slept. The only...

We stayed for 4 nights as part of an organised trip. The facilities were good but perhaps not quite 4 star. The staff, however, were lovely and helpful. We had our car but I believe there are good connections into Norwich using the bus service. We can recommend going on the various heritage trains in the area and also visiting...

Having got there at 8pm first impressions were good. Waited a while at the bar. The staff seemed young and to not really know what they were doing but coped well considering. They had the promotion cards scattered around for the drink offers so my friends decided to go for the 2 bottles of rose for 35. To b told...

Laura Jayne thank you for your kind review. I am sorry your bar experience didn't live up to the rest of a fabulous evening. Stock shortages are frustrating for us all and we try to run as many bar offers as possible to ensure we are offering great value. Thank you for your kind comments about the room and entertainment.

We stayed at this hotel for one night to celebrate our grand daughters Batmitzvah. The room for actual party was beautifully prepared by the hotel, (we supplied the table floral arrangements). The staff were attentive and very helpful. Bedroom was clean and bed very comfortable. The only slightly negative comment I would make, a wider shelf in the bathroom for...

1 night stay with 6 other colleagues. Strange layout with a small bank in the same grounds. Much of the hotel appeared to be quite dated, but clean nevertheless. Staff very nice and helpful. My room on the first floor was very close to the main road and was therefore quite noisy. Room was fine, again a bit dated but...

Toro thank you for commenting on my great team here. We hope that it's our team that help us rise above the average. Sorry to hear you were troubled with road noise, that is an unusual complaint for our property, but I do apologise. Thank again for your kind review.

Reception staff attentive and knowledgeable . Waiting staff in the dining room were quick to respond to our requirements but were not hovering. Bar had a limited stock of spirits.- Only one brandy and not a very good quality one at that. The Suite of rooms were well maintained and stocked during our stay. The only drawback was the lack...

Stayed for a wedding in february. Room was clean and light. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was buffet and self service cooked breakfast were All very nice. We got there early but was allowed in room as soon as it was ready. The drinks in the bar near reception and the bar in the wedding reception were very expensive and the...

Thank you Tracey for your kind review. Our new beds have been amazingly popular, as has our new breakfast spec. Sorry you found us a little expensive in the bar, we always make a big effort to run some great deals on wines and beers. We hope to welcome you back to Sunny Norwich.

The Hotel was ok, the public areas back of house were in serious need of an upgrade, the staff were not what you would expect from a Mecure, deciding to chat to a 'friend' rather than 'check me out of the hotel on Sunday' - the location is poor for Norwich City centre ie not walkable. The worst thing about...

Friendly check in and bar staff. Restaurant looked expensive for what it was so went elsewhere. Hotel rooms were reasonably comfortable but the whole building desperately needs refreshing, 80s decor still going and very very tired. Swimming pool was clean but the spa broken and tiled over. Sauna about 20c too cool. Breakfast was plentiful if completely average stodge. Fresh...

Greg thank you for making some positive comments about my team. We are receiving some amazing comments about our new breakfast spec so I was disappointed you judged it average. Our sausages are Cumberland by the way.
