If you stay here expecting a nice hotel, then you're a moron. This isn't for a 3+ day stay. It's perfect for a few friends who are going clubbing etc and need somewhere to crash for the night. When me and my friends turned up I expected it to be disgusting but it was far from that. Only problem we... More

Just left The Bristol Hotel, same MJB group, left 3 nights early as it's not habitable. Rooms are a total disgrace, but it's the smell of drugs being smoked at 3am along with all the shouting swearing and screaming outside my door that put me off. Lasted for about 3 hours constant swearing, shouting felt unsafe as wasn't sure if... More

No wonder there were rooms in this place. The crack den has been cleared and Isis have cleared the locals. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Even the cockroaches left without paying. A novel way of avoiding curtains is to black the windows out. It's basically student accommodation or a halfway house. £80 we paid, 8 pence worth we got. I could go... More

All I am going to say is this: I spent over two years in a half way house due to unemployment and that was cleaner than the room in this so called hotel! Prison cell would be a better name, no windows, stinks of sewage, no mirror and black painted walls..... booked for two nights and stayed half a night........ More

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE Not worth the 1 star I had to put to leave review, extremely rude and arrogant female at the end of the phone, site not staffed, dirty, no tea bags, kettle on side but no plug anywhere near it, remote control not working, no fridge, no microwave or cooking facilities as advertised, There website shows photo... If your used to sleeping in a freezer and having to wear shoes when you piss then this is the place for you. This makes Helmand province look like Chelsea. This is the coldest place I've ever been and I'm an arctic explorer. The bathroom ceiling spits out more water than Niagara Falls and when you wake up in the... More

I wanted to spend a few days in Norwich visiting friends etc. and booked 2 nights at very short notice, on the morning of my stay. I didn’t think to read the reviews and just thought I had a last minute bargain at £50. How wrong I was! Took me a while to figure out the hotel (Plantations) and room... More

My husband came across this on internet, and at £90 for short notice Easter Weekend booking, instead of £150 or so for the 2 nights as there was a 30% discount, seemed reasonable. There were only a few rooms left, he thought he'd better book up quickly. After he booked, I looked at the reviews. This is when it daunted.... the... More

The room was dirty when I arrived. Three beds had been put into a breakfast room, leaving the broken fridges and a filthy sink as a memento. The carpet was stained with wax and ketchup. There were holes in the wall. The shared bathroom reeked of piss and the toilet leaked when flushed.

Had confirmation email that all was ok, but not been sent access codes so when we arrived we could not get in. The codes took a long time to come through and we were left standing on the doorstep. I did not feel comfortable as there are no staff on site and it seemed only male clientele. We left and... More
