We had such a lovely back to basic weekend in an unfurnished pod, we weren't sure what to expect but it was perfect. Own eating area, bike hiring & fishing. We are retuning next year in a furnished pod, save taking lots of stuff. The staff are amazing and very helpful. You can enjoy cooked food, which is done on... More

Even the driveway to the park is a quiet beautiful tree lined road. Each pitch is separated by hedgerow and is an excellent size. Plenty of room for a motorhome or caravan, large awning and then still a grass area to sit out. We have never been to such a well planned campsite. It's surrounded by trees and has a... More

We stayed here last year in a glamping bell tent, of which there were just two tents. Really friendly welcome and got met at the tent and personally welcomed, lots of privacy, absolutely loved it. Returned again this year but really disappointed. There are now six bell tents in a village-type lay-out. Nobody welcomed us at the tent to introduce... More

Just returned form a stay at this site during brilliant weather. We have a motorhome and to be fair to this site I think it is designed for tents and caravans (proper camping as some would say!). There are two shower blocks with two showers in each block. Woefully inadequate given the size of the site. They are on each... More

We stopped here for a short visit and were impressed with the pitch sizes, cleanliness, recycling availability, reasonable prices and clean toilet facilities. It took us all day to get there in our battered motor home but was worth the trip which was dual purpose. Hopefully we'll visit again to get a good look around which we didn't have time... More

My boyfriend and I flew in from New York City to attend a friend's wedding at Deer Glade. We thought the venue was beautiful in the open field. Mark was very kind and offered to show us around the park. We would be interested in returning for a camping trip in the future. All the cabins looked clean and welcoming.... More

Got back home tonight after staying 6 nights at Deers Glade. We were on plot 43 and even though we experienced plenty of rain and thunderstorms when we were there our plot stayed dry and drained well. I have stayed at numerous caravan sites throughout the uk and would definitely rate Deers Glade as number 1 - showers and toilets... More

This is a beautiful camping site. Its perfect for a breal whether you want to camp, caravan or go glamping. We stayed in the sheppards hut, its with the bell tents in the glamping area, beautifully maintained grass and picnic areas. The hut itself is lovely, clean and comfortable with a TV, a fridge and a kitchenette. The only thing... More
