We were on a coach trip and I guess that this is the type of hotel that the booking agents go for to keep costs of the holiday down and so my review is with a low expectation: This hotel basic hotel is two floors with very long corridors, but it does offer a pool and gym facilities. Our room... More

Probably one of the worst hotels in have had the misfortune to stay at, the first night I stayed I ordered steak in the restaurant it was the toughest steak I have ever had in my life and steak is one of my favourite meals, when I complained they were not interested so I complained at reception and they said... I stayed for a night whilst away on business. The staff were very friendly although the maid comes very early (8:15) lol! so make use of the do not disturb sign! Rooms are a bit dated and furniture a little shabby in areas but it was clean. Wi-fi was decent. Great food. Re-do the rooms and this place could be... More

After reading some of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor, I was a little apprehensive about staying here, but stayed here for 1 week on a business trip and was not disappointed. The room was clean and tidy, yes some of the paintwork wanted redoing but the room was always clean and fresh. The hotel staff where very helpful and always... More

I don't think i have stayed in a hotel this poor for many years. On arrival we were given room 146. we had travelled 6 hours - were very tired and carting lots of luggage. Our room was on the ground floor and it had sliding windows which you could not secure at all!!!!!! The furniture was very tired the... More

Attended my nieces wedding at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The staff were very smart and attentive and worked really hard to ensure everything went smoothly. The reception room was just the right size for the amount of guests and the tables were set out really nice. Unfortunately they did not have a... More

Overnight stay for a wedding close by the following day, booked via online site, booked small double room more of a single, bed most awful i have ever slept in, struggled to fit two people in (2 pillows were wider than the bed), mattress needs replacing could feel springs on each move. Went here on an organised coach trip, and have already complained to the holiday company involved. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, though the room could have done with two bedside tables as one between twin beds, with acres of empty space the other side isn't acceptable. Food was ok, though the fish was over done on one night.... More

Glad we only stayed for one night, our 'executive' room was anything but and I can't believe it was a 4* on booking website. Everything about the place is tatty and dated at best, torn upholstery on curtains, lampshades and carpets, grubby bed divan with a very cheap old mattress that anyone with a bad back should avoid! The ceiling... More
