This is a nice little B&B with really friendly hosts who will do anything to help (want a lift to and from the pub? Stuart offered!). The bedroom was comfortable, the biscuits provided outstanding, the welcome warm and enthusiastic and the views absolutely stunning. The local pub (The Buck Inn) is great with a superb selection of German beer and...

Was very unsure about the whole idea of relying on someone to come and pick you up when you've rung them 1 hour before hand - but no need to worry at all. Stuart came out just as promised, took us to his lovely bed and breakfast, transported us to the pub that evening and then brought us back home....

This wasn't the most luxurious of B&Bs but it was comfortable and in a great location next to a farm. Judy was a very attentive host and when I called ahead was happy ti nip into town to buy me some blister treatment stuff. Also her cheese breakfast option with home made bread was a terrific change from the standard...

A comfortable B&B on a working farm, ideal for C2C walkers who want a place to stay near Clay Bank. Stuart, our host, met us at Clay Bank & gave us a ride to his B&B. Judy, our hostess, gave us a ride to and from Chop Gate so we could have dinner at the local pub. One service we...

If you want to stay in a house on a farm and have the horses wake you up instead of an alarm clock, then this place can give you that experience and more. My room was in the attic and had a skylight. The room had 2 beds, kettle, a small tv and an attached bathroom with a shower. Wi-fi...

Thanks for a lovely review Anna. I was interested to hear my boot repair is still holding. I have done another one since. Hope that went as well. Stuart

What a place to stay!! Stuart picked us up from our trail, took us to the pub where we ate dinner ( which they had been kind enough to for us in advance), collected us afterwards then dropped us off at the start of our next leg the following day...talk about service. In between all that, we had a great...

Mr Preston picked me up by car from Clay Bank whilst I was walking C2C, all part of the service, and then, later a lift to the pub for dinner! Warm welcome, very comfortable room with ensuite. Great location with far reaching views, great breakfast. A lovely peaceful haven to recover from an arduous days walking. Highly recommended for any...

The B&B, next to a farm, was comfortable enough, but the offer of a platter of local cheeses for breakfast, with an accompanying account of their origins and manufacture, made this absolutely memorable. Lovely hosts, couldn't do enough to make us welcome.

West Cote is a bit of a hike off the Coast to Coast but well worth it. Stuart and Judy are great hosts and will pick you up at Blakey Ridge -- just call from Wainstones where you'll get wifi reception. Dine at the Buck Inn and then don't miss Judy's alternative breakfast of English cheeses. So refreshing after full...

Excellent friendly service. Great to be picked up at Clay Bank Top. Lovely location with decking area to sit out after a hard day's walking. Very tasty breakfast with an amazing array of homemade jams.
