I was in Middlesbrough for a business trip. The hotel is perfectly located in the town centre above an Aldi supermarket with free parking. The hotel has a bar with a wide range of drinks and offers evening meals and breakfast. I personally didn't take advantage of this service. The staff offered a warm welcome and went above and beyond... More

Stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, a light in my room was broken and as it was a family room I slept on one of the camp beds which were as hard as rock so didn't get a good night sleep.

Don't overlook the Travelodge in Middlesbrough! A wonderful hotel - simple but clean and functional rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, fantastic food service and a simply amazing and friendly staff that goes above and beyond in every area. Plenty of free parking and easy access to the highways as well as Middlesbrough town center.

Stayed here for one night with work. Paid £50 (or at least work did). Standard travelodge stay. Basic facilities, wifi if you want to pay or 30 min for free. Room spacious but minimalist (to leave space for the pull out beds to make a family room I suppose). Breakfast was fine - full English, fruit salad or cereal but... More

We stayed here recently for 2 nights. The biggest issue is that there's no air conditioning in the rooms, so on the day we checked in the room was VERY hot due to the very high temperatures outside. A fan was provided in the room and iced water was available in reception for guests to help themselves. Other than the... More

This venue is very good in all respects. Only one comment. It was very hot the time we visited Middlesbrough so air conditioning would have helped. Otherwise a nice and quiet stay. Our room over looked Audi and not the main road.

rooms are very basic but reasonably comfortable. No air conditioning, so get VERY hot in summer. fan supplied on demand but only moves hot air around. Restaurant food not particularly good, only ate in there once during a 4 night stay. Breakfast expensive, so didi not partake.

I enjoyed my stay at Travel Lodge Middlesbrough. Staff were friendly, the room was good enough, and breakfast was promptly served. The staff were very friendly. I was glad to be able to open the windows in my room which made a pleasant change from all the air conditioning in many hotels today.
