We stayed for eight nights in August 2016, six nights on the basement level and two on the third floor. Both rooms were uncomfortably hot, even with the window open and pedestal fan on and we found it difficult to sleep at night. We would not stay again in summer. The location was excellent however, with babyswater and queensway stations... More

The reviews below are correct, you get what you pay for and it was fine for what we paid. I've marked down for a couple of reasons; the reception staff could have been better on arrival we stood waiting while they chatted for a bit. There is a fan in the room but in 26 degree heat this isn't much... More

I'd be worried about staying there during a heatwave, as the rooms are stuffy (fan is provided, though no A/C), but other than that, it is fabulous value for this location. Staff were really nice and helpful too.

If you are expecting luxury you should be paying well over £150 in central London. These apartments are more than adequate for a couple of nights and have everything you require as well as being in a great location. They may be a bit shabby in areas but again I think you need to bare in mind the cost. They... More

We stayed here for one night whilst down to see a show.. if your expectations are an apartment then you will be dissapointed... it's a room with kitchen units down one side... the bathroom and kitchen bit were cleanish..the bed wasn't... it clearly hasn't been changed since the last ppl with blood spots... stains ... and long black hair all... The worst accommodation we have ever stayed in through all our years of travelling the world. The only positive about the place is it's proximity to two subways, bus routes and the many restaurants and shops on Queensway.

This is definitely not Executive standards but simply put "Studio in a fantastic location". I stayed here for 10 days and must admit it's basic living definitely nothing Executive about the room. Let's stick to the pros' Great Location as Hyde Park is across the Road Minutes from Queensway and Bayswater tubes Minutes away from Portobello Market Minutes away from... More

The apartment was small but it had all the utilities necessary for a short stay. Also it is very conveniently located near two underground stations (Bayswater and Queensway) and within walking distance from Notting Hill. There are shops and pubs nearby and it is a quiet neighbourhood. However, we stayed for three nights and nobody cleaned our room-maybe because it... More

These "apartments" are in a brilliant location near Kensington Gardens and 2 underground stations. The apartments are just rooms with a kitchen area crammed in and are anything but executive. We did not realise that unless you are staying for 7 days or more they do not come in and clean room, also no towel change etc. The rooms were... More

First of all, must be half an hour's walk from Hyde Park. Secondly, not sure what an "executive" is but it conjures a picture of professionalism, someone who seeks a bit of comfort, cleanliness in which case this isn't the place for you. If you like sharing a communal toilet on the corridor ( wear shoes because the floor is... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
