Lovely rooms true to picture and the manager and team were all very helpful. We ordered from the restaurant which had a mostly Asian menu - the sea bass was delicious. A few points if you choose to stay above a pub; 1. There will be outside noice til about 11pm so if you are a sensitive sleeper think about that. 2. You may not have an elevator. Steps were an issue for me but the manager move me to the lowest floor and that made a big difference. The location was central to all we wanted to do and we were able to walk to theater district in the afternoon and early evening. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. All the cabbies knew of the pub so was easy to travel to and from. Thank you to the team at The One Tun for a great experience!

Lovely rooms, well thought out, clean and comfortable -and very helpful staff. I don't see why I have to write 200 words which seems rather excessive when I have said everything I wasn't to say in one sentence

We visited the One Tun for the weekend as was visiting the Ideal Home Show. Booking and check in very efficient. Although the room was on the top floor it was perfect - both size, decor and fittings was to a very high standard. We had drinks and food in the pub which was excellent. Staff very attentive and polite. Will definitely be returning.

A dozen of us lunched here on Wednesday. The pub has a traditional feel and is comfortable in a quiet way. The only real ale was Doom Bar but that was in good shape. My real delight was a truly delicious chicken rendang for £13 including 12.5% service. Service was good and helpful. This isn't an area that I frequent, but I would happily head for a return match if I were nearby.

From the outset we loved every minute of our booking with this venue. My friend and I were traveling with my son who has special needs. We wanted a cute little hotel in a nice location and where we could grab a bite or beverage easily at night. We could not have chosen a more perfect venue. They communicated with us weeks before we arrived and were extremely responsive. We were flying in very early and they let us check in early (lifesaver because of the jet lag and a cranky baby). They had a pack-n-play set up in advance of our arrival which was clean and sturdy. The room was immaculate and decorated extremely well. There were free nibbles in the room and a Nespresso machine. The staff were extremely accommodating while we were there. Even to the point where we may have taken too much advantage of their kindness haha! The location was also fantastic. A two minute walk from Farringdon underground and the national rail station. A 30-40 min walk to Buckingham Palace or the Tower of London. Taxi availability everywhere. A. bonus is their restaurant/pub. It is pan-Asian food and the menu was fantastic. We really enjoyed the food and they had a full bar, including a small selection of craft beers. If I had a complaints it would be no elevator and the bathtub. The stairs are quite narrow and steep. Carrying a baby up and down the stairs was always a bit scary. The first couple of days I was wondering why they didn't book us on a lower floor but then I realized on Saturday night why. Their pub gets quite busy and we could hear the festivities even on the second floor. As a loud family we didn't mind it at all - just bring ear plugs if that is something that bothers you. The bathtub is quite narrow at the bottom so you kind of have to stand sideways to feel stable. It is also quite high off the ground. If you need an accessible bathroom then this might not be the place for you (although I'm not sure if they have handicap bathrooms available). Overall we loved it. One of the best hotel experiences I've had in London and I can't wait to stay again!

We was in London for our 2 year anniversary. Was a great location just a couple of minutes walk to Farringdon tube station. Room was nice and quiet on the second floor. Host was friendly and welcoming. We even got a complimentary drink each upon booking in. Bonus! 😂

I was really impressed with this lovely pub. I booked a room for the night and lunch with a friend . There was great communication and we were able to go straight to our room when we arrived early. The guy behind the bar couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The room was great; large and beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with little bottles etc... and was also lovely. The lunch was a Thai menu. We had some spring rolls, pad Thai and some delicious gin cocktails. All in all a great stay. I would definitely recommend this gem of a pub and would love to go back.

Beautiful room, fantastic attentive staff and delicious food - as a vegetarian it was great to be able to order a katsu curry that was plant based! Food pricing for London was very competitive and I would say the food was definitely up to standard for our visit. 100% would stay here again.

Just spent the weekend away in Central London and stayed at the one tun pub.. really nice location on the side streets so no traffic or passer by noise and close to all amenities and attractions. Very comfortable beds slept really well and a lovely big bath.. only two things I found dissapointing was the Thai food very bland stodgy rice over cooked chicken satay and the lamb dish was fatty and gristley we only ate small portion and had to leave the rest. I asked the waitress to address the bill and she did without no hesitation.. 2nd issue is the TV is on the far back wall so if your in the next room you can really hear the TV as your bed is behind this wall.. twice we had to ask the guest next door to turn the TV down.. I'd definitely stay here again but would not eat here. Its a lovely little London pub so I'd love to see a traditional English pub menu.. the Thai food clearly isn't up to standard.. as also other reviews clearly state..

The hotel is minutes away from Farringdon underground station so really convenient for travel around London. The rooms are decorated to a lovely standard and really large, and the staff can't be faulted. The only reason for the 4 star rating (rather than 5) was some difficulty contacting the team on Sunday (as we were arriving later than expected) and the reception on the TV (though we did have access to Netflix which was great!). We'll definitely stay there again!
