Stayed here at a 2 bed room apartment for 5 days. Location is great and the apartmentment was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes Plenty of places outside to eat and London Bridge station is only a few mins walk. Only negative i would say is the hot water finished and then it was cold. Another point was it is very noisy outside then this is not the place for you Overall for a small family this would be ideal to stay for going around in the city. Thanks
Our family of four stayed a week in July 2017. Had mixed feeling about the place. The best part about the apartment is its location. A short walk away from London Bridge and the metro. Across the street from the Borough Market, and is surrounded by eatery and convenience shops. The apartment is small yet efficiently designed. Comfortable beds. The staff was invisible and out of reach - all communication was done through email so do not expect fast response. London was our last stop on the trip so imagine my surprise to receive an email with a form attached the week before check in. I managed to complete the mandatory form using my Apple pencil on the iPad, but it would be very challenging for those without access to those tools or a printer. WiFi performance was poor. Staff instructed us (after email inquiries) to reset the router. We simply had to reset the router every few hours during our stay. For our one week stay, we were provided only one trash bag, and one dishwasher tab. There is no paper towel or kitchen sponge to wash things. There was a limited supply of toilet paper, and no supply for laundry. Are we expected to travel with loads of those essentials? We have to frequent the convenience shop to stock up. And there is no air conditioning. London was unusually warm during our stay. We had to keep the windows open, which means we have to endure train noises every few minutes. Next time we will stay somewhere else.…
Excellent location near 100s of eateries. My room on third floor overlooked Borough Market and the fictitious residence of Bridget jones (diairies) ..a real pub. Two minutes from the Southwark street exit from London Bridge (jubilee line). Excellent two bedroom flat (could sleep 4) two bathrooms and a kitchen diner. Must have a value (as a flat) of well over £1 million. I paid £235 for one night for the privilege thru hotel.com. This was discounted. Mind you the nearest premier travel in was £190 that night (booked late). Many positive aspects. The only downsides is that it's fiddly to get the key...a 15 min walk to near tower bridge (a basement office in another building) and back again. Then there is the £100 deposit fir breakages. The lady in reception (Spanish?) was first class and when I couldn't access the flat she came over straight away. The problem apparently was sticky buttons on the number pad. I'll watch for that next time. Shame I couldn't stay longer ...great place to bring a partner ....great meal out and then a quirky flat to come back to ( beats hotels for an experience) …
Visited for a long weekend with the family. Fantastic location over the road from London Bridge tube station. Lovely modern and clean apartment. Loved the underfloor heating too. Would recommend, especially to those travelling with children.
Very convenient location near the Borough Market and the London Bridge station. Apartments themselves promised more than it was provided: no views, very basic service, not very clean. For this price (210 £) we could have expected more services. In the apartment there were nothing what we would find in other similar serviced apartments, like wahing powder for washing machine, washing-up liquid, stuff for dishwasher, sugar, salt. One roll of toilet paper for 7 days for two people. All that did not cost that much money but created incovenience: we had to look for a supermarket and go to buy all this. Very mean of the management.
We rented this mini apartment for three nights and would not hesitate to come back. It is very convenient to the east end of the south bank, all features of London Bridge station, Borough Market, a cluster of gold old pubs with Tower Hill and all the rest not far off. It's affordable and a good place to be. The booking arrangements went smoothly, the flat on the third floor was exactly as described. Not top notch luxury but fresh simple and comfortable. It was easy to spend half an hour stocking with the usual soft and hard drinks, breads, cheeses and cold meats from the market across the road, wines from Oddbins, Leathwaites or one of the other good wine shops within a stones throw. Just a few gripes you may want to anticipate but nothing maintenance can't resolve in minutes. The key pad on the main entrance are unpredictable and unreliable. And you only get one flat door key which for a two doubled bedded place is not great. The big mat in our living room curled at two corners and caused several trips till we devised a knack. The balcony doors could not be opened and the two wall lights in the non food zone were not working which curtailed reading and made needlepoint hazardous. In the two bathrooms even one coat hanger would have been helpful and maybe essential for clothing, towels or wash bags. The free wifi was reliable but painfully slow. We will come back if they let us. In its price range, highly recommended.…
Stayed just one night here and from now on, it will be the place I stay whenever I need an overnight in London. Large, modern, spotlessly clean apartment with everything you need. Could easily live in this place full time. Balconies, TVs in living area and bedroom, good wifi, easy check in and very close to London Bridge underground. Lots in the area too, good restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Great place, best I've stayed in in London.
My wife and I stayed at this apartment on Sunday and we have to say.... what an amazing place. We had the option to stay anywhere in central London, in a fancy 5 star hotel but this place really ticks every box you need it to. We were able to check in very easily and the security level is very good meaning no one will be disturbing you during your stay. The apartment was amazing. Everything was literally brand new and very clean. Every appliance you need is there, a kettle, toaster, oven, microwave and even a dishwasher (meaning we could be lazy with the washing up). The lounge was really comfortable with a nice sofa and the TV in both the lounge and the bedrooms were smart TVs. This meant that we were able to log into our Netflix account and watch whatever we wanted while we shared a bottle of wine. The bedroom had a nice big bed, which was very comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom. Towels and shower gels provided meaning we had less to worry about. The decor is very up to date and want we were looking for in a London apartment. Positioned literally opposite borough market meant that the next morning we had a lovely breakfast whilst roaming around the market and at the same time picked up our lunch and dinner supplies. We would DEFINITELY stay at this apartment in the future as it was a perfect location with so much to do both in and outside of the flat.…
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at the Hop Art House for 3 nights in October. The location is excellent, right across the road from Borough Market, 3 minutes from London Bridge tube station and within walking distance from a number of attractions such as Shakespear Globe, Tate Modern, Tower Bridge, the Millenium Bridge etc etc. The flat was unusually modern and large (for London) and it easily fit 3 adults and a toddler (crib provided by Allstay at no extra charge). We only had a few minor issues. The dish-washer was broken, so we had to do dishes by hand, which is particularly annoying when there is 4 of each of cutlery and plates. The other thing was while the flat appeared brand new, the towels provided were a bit worn and off-coloured. Lastly, there is nowhere to store luggage at the Hop Art House, you have to walk 15-20 minutes to the Maltings Recidence at Tower Bridge Road. I have only good things to say about the service from Allstay. Booking was smooth, so was checking in and out. When we called about the dish-washer, they said they couldnt fix it during the weekend, but we were granted at later check-out time (12 instead of 10) as compensation. I would definitely stay here again, but would work out a better plan for suitcases upon departure, because this took a good hour out of our last day in London.…
We spent a long weekend in a 2 bedroom apartment and couldn't have been happier. Fantastic location (steps from London Bridge station and opposite Borough Markets). Booking was smooth and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The apartment was hip, modern and spacious. Friday night post-work drinks make the surrounding area a tad noisy but it didn't last and didn't bother us much. Cannot recommend more highly.
