We stayed at the Melia White House June, 2023. We enjoyed the Level lounge for its wonderful spread but MOST of all we enjoyed the impeccable service. Thomas provided us with excellent service - a true gentleman and a joy. He went above and beyond every morning and made us feel at home and with a smile. Thomas should be commended for his excellent level of service.

We stayed at this hotel as we were going to the Gherkin for an evening meal. We were originally impressed with the photos of the interior but we were blown away with how true to life they were. This hotel has been revamped during the lockdown period and still has work ongoing but you would not know. It was amazing, very clean very modern whilst maintaining some of the old character and was simply stunning. But there is no point of all this glam if the staff don't live up to it as well and believe me you won't be disappointed because they were all amazing too, I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from every member we met. Now we did have a tiny problem with our room in that the sliding glass door to the toilet would not close. We mentioned it to the receptionist and believe me we weren't complaining just wanted them to check it just in case we were being stupid or something. So in the meantime we went to the level lounge where we were greeted with a champagne cocktail and grabbed some food. Whilst enjoying are lunch which was also really lovely the head receptionist approached us and apologised that we had been inconvenienced with our room to then advise us that they had upgraded us from a premium level room to a family level room. Well what can you say but thank you. The premium room was lovely and we were more than happy with it, a little small but clean modern smart and simply lovely. The family room was perfect though of good size for 2 just wanting that little bit more room and extra space. It was again smart, very clean, oozed style and you really felt you were in somewhere special and if you can afford just that little bit more its worth the extra pounds. We loved our stay and will certainly use this Hotel again and very soon as we love going to London. The hotel is in a great location to access all the attractions of London and the tube stations are within minutes of the hotel by foot. I highly recommend The Melia WhiteHouse Hotel it was a pleasure to stay there and enjoy its delights and ambience and the attention to personal service and detail by the staff. We will see you again and hopefully soon.

We have a corporate arrangement as our office is nearby. Often staff recognise me as a regular customer and they always make an effort to assist - helping to carry luggage up and down stairs, calling taxis, offering tea and coffee when awaiting guests in the Level lounge, providing workplace tables for mini-meetings, ensuring free water and biscuits in the room and sometimes a basket of fruit as well. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel really welcome.
The rooms are comfortable with large beds, wide screen TV, efficient working desks (perhaps more 13amp wall sockets please), effective aircon and small but perfectly formed en suite bathrooms (disappointed that soap bars are no longer provided). Breakfast is a treat with hot and cold buffet plus special items to order at no extra cost. This week I enjoyed to Eggs Benedict - two perfectly cooked poached eggs atop a toasted bun with a creamy sauce. Heaven on a plate. I am looking forward to my next visit as I always do.

We stayed at The Melia for our honeymoon. We booked the junior suite and it did not disappoint. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the shower being slow draining but once we mentioned it to reception they organised for maintenance to come and look it and we not other issues.
Our room was amazing, so spacious and comfortable. The facilities in the room where well stocked and anything used was replenished by housekeeping.
Would definitely stay again. Ive gone on about it being such a good hotel that my parents have booked in to stay there when they visit London!

The bed was comfortable and the rooms were kept very clean. The room (apart from the bathroom) was very warm and heated up quickly after we'd been out during the day. The shower was good - it had great water pressure and the products on offer where good quality. The breakfast had a large selection of different products with plenty of continental and cooked options. There were definitely some things that could be improved on however, especially from what you would expect in a four star hotel. There were frosted glass doors to the toilet and to the cupboard which held the safe which we thought looked a bit out of place. The glass door on the safe cupboard was also at around head height around a corner which wasn't safe. When it came to breakfast, the poached eggs were pre-cooked then re-heated which was unappetizing and the plates for hot food were cold one morning . We found that out of the four days we stayed there we could only get freshly squeezed juice one morning. Due to Covid, we think, there were less amenities in the room than we'd expect but I could get a sewing kit when I asked for one. We had to move room late at night due to a plumbing issue which did mean that we had to pack up in a hurry which was a less relaxing evening than we'd like. Management did offer some perks the next day to compensate for this but can only be used if you plan to stay with them again and if available.

I stayed two nights in this hotel back in June. The hotel location is great, next to Regent Park and 3 mins walk to Tube Station, but I enjoy walking around this area, in fact it is easy to walk over to Goodge street or Marylebone high street, many shops and restaurants there.

Arrived the hotel at around 1pm, but room was not ready, the front desk staff offered me to take a rest at their The Level lounge. The environment of the Lounge was nice, not many people at around 1:30pm, I can take some time to enjoy a cup of tea and order food (need to pay separately) from their small menu. Ordered a Club sandwiches, tastes not bad.

Went back to front desk at 3:30pm and my room was ready. Room was nice, spacious, wooden floor, but no sofa was quite disappointed. I stayed in Room 828, which was next to the elevator. I can hear the elevator noise very clearly in my room, and I found it was quite annoying. Called the Front desk and see if I can change to another room, sadly they said the hotel was fully booked, so it is not possible to change to another room. Honestly, the noise was really annoying, I chose to go out to cafe for a coffee or take a rest at The lounge instead of staying in my room. Other than the noise, everything was perfect. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was included, and it was buffet style serving. The restaurant is very big, even if there were a lot of people there for breakfast during peak hour, I was still able to get a table. Food was great and selections were good too.

If I need to stay in London for 1 or 2 nights, I will still consider to stay in this hotel, but I will definitely request my room not to be next to the elevator.

International traveller, stays in the best hotels, but none are in this class. Truly Outstanding!
The room is clean modern and a delight to stay in, quiet, relaxed and warm
Central: 12 minutes walk from Euston, 20 mins walk to Soho and 15mins to Baker Street for the Jubilee line into Westminster.
Glass of Cava served on check-in. Thats a first!
5:30pm free drinks and tapas served in Level lounge with no restrictions.
Once you get your head around the way the lifts work, you will find this hotel faultless.
If you venture downstairs to the Level lounge, you will find the perfect gentleman waiting on your every need.- Thomas: So from a business point of view the rooms are affodable costwise.
But from a personal point of view I am truly blown away at how good this hotel is and you are just going to come back time after time after time.

We couldn't wait to return to this hotel, as soon as May 17th was announced and confirmed we booked it right away. We was able to secure an absolutely gorgeous suite called the Marylebone Suite, absolutely brilliant, spacious and great value.

The hotel has been under refurbishment for quite a bit now, but the results are just amazing, I don't think they are rushing because they dont want a 'quick job' they want a refurbishment to last.

on check-in i was expecting something really different, but it wasn't, it was all the same apart from a screen between myself and Cristina who was checking me in, i had the normal glass of Cava, and a lovely cold towel. The check-in is never rushed, they want to make all guests feel really special and explain everything you are entitled to (which is a lot for the price paid) , they don't skimp and save money on their guests.

The Suite was about 55 sqm (592 sq ft for my american readers) , large modern sofa, dining table for 6, free standing bath an amazing shower.

Soft drinks/tea/coffee available all day with Canapes and cocktails between certain hours in the evening, this has changed as they now bring it to you instead of choosing yourself. beautiful nice start to the evening.

Breakfast, again isn't self service but they dont give a small breakfast.

it was lovely to meet more staff and to hear about the plans for the hotels future. they have certainly secured our business for the coming year, we are just about to cancel a previously booked hotel and choosing the Level @Melia White House again. 29-31st May, we can't wait.

A few members of staff to thank for making our stay excellent....

Adam, Bruno, Joao, Anatheresa and Cristina.

Just a 10 minute walk from Euston Station and a short walk to Regent Street so it's in a great location.

Remember to choose the Level for all the extras.

Thank you for reading, safe travels.

Really nice hotel and had a fantastic room on the top floor… The Marlybone Suite. Plenty of space, large dining area, lounge bedroom en-suite. Room was cleaned daily to a good standard. Only freeview available on the telly, I’d hoped for some smart functions.
We had lounge access with the room type. It’s open from 11am and there is bread, olives and then some chocolates and sweets. Evening wise you can top up on beer and wines for a couple of hours.
The lounge was never really busy and was quite relaxing even with a three year old child.
We had breakfast included and it’s a buffet. Pretty nice.
The lady who was on at breakfast during our stay was really friendly to our 3 year old making him smile, which was nice.
There is several tube stations nearby. Just check if you have young ones as they don’t all have lifts or elevators (Regent’s Park)
A taxi from the hotel to Waterloo was only £14 so we chose that option on the final day.

We have stayed at this hotel before and loved it but this time we were very disappointed. The family room had a sofa in it which is just that. It does not expand into a bed (unlike our previous visit) and it not suitable to sleep on unless your child is quite short. The room felt feels like a normal room with a sofa added not a family room.
We had to ask three times for bedding and a towel for our daughter despite booking for three of us. Basics were also missing like milk but I got tired of asking as it became a huge faff to get anything right.
The bathroom is separated by a curtain so the light pours into the room at night. If you like a dark room this is not for you.
Despite several attempts to turn down the heating it was horribly hot in the room and on the last morning the heating was on maximum in the Level restaurant.
The Level is a lovely area and Gianluca (think that is right) had a lovely welcome every morning. The food is fresh and a good offering.
I did explain my issues as I departed but was referred to the duty manager who has not made contact.
I travel a lot and have always found the Meliá hotels to be of a good quality but this one was not up to standard.

As far as I am aware, they can. I am sure when I was in the Level lounge for the tapas, there were small children [families] all dining together. The children were in early, say 5.30pm with Parents and by the time we got to 7 - 7:30pm [staff were wrapping up the dishes] it was just adults, but I d9nt think there are any specific rules regards taking your kids. Hope that helps?

Its just posher, that's all. You get a glass of Casa on check-in, a nice leather chair to sit in whilst you check in, personal attendance etc, etc, and the tapas, which I think depending on occupancy levels can be similar to the normal hotel, or slightly more expensive, [ but worth it]. The Hotel rooms are the same as the rooms in the other part of the hotel, its just a little more personalised, with its own entrance - and its lovely to be treated this way.

Dear Selkett, Thank you very much for considering us for your next stay in London and for contacting us regarding your doubts. We would like to inform you that we have reopened the main entrance, lobby, restaurant and bar. There are no renovations planned at the Level for that period of time. However, we will be working on part of the lift lobby, which should not create any disruption to our guests. The shisha lounge will be operating as usual and it closes at midnight. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance and we hope to welcome you back in December! Kind regards, Guest Experience Team
