This hotel was pleasantly surprising in so many ways. From the sweet theme of the modern and newly renovated decor through to the little added touches like free bottled water in the fridge, and a free smart phone for use during the stay to navigate around the city, what a wonderfully and well thought out hotel. On this note, yes, the rooms are very small, but if you observe closely they are very thoughtfully designed to make use of the space and I thought this was quite smart. I am a traveller that LOVES convenience and from the location, which was overlooking a sweet little park and felt like a tranquil oasis away from the city (yet when you turned the corner it was all at your feet) through to the amenities in the room, through to little touches of convenience like multiple USB charging points in the wall, I loved this place for its convenience. Two small areas of constructive feedback 1) an area that could be improved is check in - it was not bad or unpleasant by any means but a greater level of general enthusiasm and politeness of the staff would take this hotel experience to the next level. 2) the shower.... again, not unpleasant and hard to amend but I didn’t love the shower pressure and general setup here with it hard to get into the shower warm without getting water on the floor and pressure being pretty average.

Very nice little hotel with a charm, friendly receptionist lara upgraded us to a suite on first floor which was great, wonderful view to the talbot garden in front nice bed and big flat tv with a wonderfull bathroom and huge rainshower. Nice and simple bar in the lobby and very quality breakfast, a not a big area but what they have is very tasty. Nespresso in room and a fast wifi. Swift check in abd check out. Metro station not far from hotel as well as paddington station but many things to see you can just walk to as the location is good.

Good place to stay but higher priced than most Mercure Hotels. However, it is really a 2 minute walk from Paddington Station where the Heathrow Express has its final destination. We had a frontroom and no issues with Traffic noice. Excellent staff, very pleasant place to stay.
