I have just spent two nights at this lovely hotel. The room was small but comfortable, attractively decorated and spotlessly clean. After a busy afternoon, we decided to eat in the hotel's bistro and we were not disappointed! Both the food and service were excellent. There are so many delicious cocktails to choose from - I would have liked to...

I booked into Portobello House, for my night off (I work nights and need a good rest on my time off). From the pictures I looked at on the internet, - and the written description, followed by a conversation over the phone with a member of the hotel reception staff, I booked myself in, to a "Four poster" bedroom. Dear Rhiannon, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We spent a night in the Portobello House hotel, and were greeted by exceptionally helpful staff. The rooms are well decorated, with high ceilings and huge windows. Very airy, but complete blackout curtains for non early risers. We stayed in a Superior king room, the bed was very comfortable, with Egyptian cotton bedding and good quality pillows. The En suite...

Me and my mother stayed at this nice hotel in May. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect located just a few minutes from Portobello Marked and Notting Hill. A bus to Oxford Street just around the corner. The room was small but nice. WIll be back mid of June.

A friend of ours held his wedding reception here and to make it more relaxing we decided to stay over rather than travel home on the last train. It was a good decision. The staff were incredibly friendly and in good humour despite being under a lot of pressure as they catered for 100 guests. The food was very good...

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at The Portobello House during our trip to London the last week of March. We could not have asked for better accommodations. At first we were worried that the location was a little far and out of the way from central London, but between the tube only a 3 minute walk...

Very small hotel. Hardly noticeable from the street. But what an amazing hotel. One of the coziest I've seen, with very sweet interior, nice rooms and a lovely restaurant/coffee. Right next to the Portobello market, where you can shop til you drop. Nearby houses and neighborhood is also lovely, with a sweet "english" feeling. Metro station is just around the...
