Checked in for 2 nights to celebrate my brothers 30th birthday. One of the strengths of this property is the level of care you receive from the moment you walk in the door. The front Office team offer a warm personal welcome with lots of team members on to ensure you are never waiting too long. Our morning breakfast was my highligh, santa runs a great operation in a busy restaurant. The star of the show is Johnny the breakfast chef, his personality/humor would cheer up anyone. I can't say thank enough for the memories my brother will always have, looking forward to our next stay! James
Perfect family hotel in a great location, with a view of The London Eye! We booked a studio room for 2 adults, a 13 and 11 year old, and we had plenty of space. The room was really 2 rooms separated by a kitchen and bathroom, which gave us adult/kid space to unwind after a busy day! The kids shared the sofa bed. We put them top to tail, and requested 2 single duvets to prevent them from arguing. This was ready for our arrival, plus their towels were made up in the shape of elephants - a great touch!! Both the kids and us slept really well! The beds were comfortable. We had room 620, right in front of the elevators. There was no noise though, from either within the hotel or outside- it was a really peaceful stay! I think the rooms must be sound proofed, but there was no slamming of doors/ noise from lift. The room had everything we could have wanted! The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate bath, and was spacious for the location. We were provided with an iron/ironing board, microwave, mini fridge, cutlery/plates, lovely bottles of Elemis shampoo/conditioner/shower wash, tissues, flannels as well as towels etc. We didn’t need to ask for anything. Breakfast was AMAZING!! We thought it was the best buffet breakfast! We used the bar/outside area too and this was a relaxing facility to have at the end of a busy day. The food and drink are lovely! The hotel staff really go above and beyond. They are a credit to the hotel! The location was fab also. We used the tube to travel everywhere - from Waterloo. This station is 5 mins down the road and tubes come every 2 mins. We could leave the hotel and be in Leicester Sq, at Tower of London/ Kensington museums 15/20 mins later, for £2.50 per trip (with an Oyster card). South Bank is <5 mins away, as are a Marks and Spencer’s/Boots the Chemist for supplies. We plan to return later in the year and won’t stay any where else in London now!…
Only negative was the pull out sofa, not comfortable at all. The breakfast was phenomenal, The room was fantastic, views were amazing. Great access to transportation, and we were amazed by the continuous great service.
If you're happy to pay for a Superior Double Room and be allocated a filthy box room with a disabled access bathroom this is the place for you. There is no security access control on the lifts so anyone can walk in, operate the lifts and access all the floors.
I booked directly with the hotel for an overnight stay to celebrate my niece's 21st birthday. We booked a studio room and I thought the breakfast offer was good value. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome from Jaan, who, is one of the best hotel receptionists we've met. From the minute we arrived and until check in, nothing was too much trouble. He even remembered the show we were seeing and asked us if we enjoyed it! We were amazed to have a room upgrade as it was a celebration and when we arrived in our room, my niece had a bottle of wine and a card from guest relations,...even balloons on the bed. It really was such a kind and unexpected treat. Room was a Junior Suite. Spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean with gorgeous Elemis toiletries. This hotel is perfect for Waterloo. It's basically next door. It's convenient to walk over to the London Eye, directly opposite. 10 minute walk over the bridge to Trafalgar Square, The Strand and Covent Garden just a bit further. I'll choose this hotel again. Highly recommend.…
Good central location. From arrival service was excellent. This was business trip but would be great base for a city break too. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, left feeling of being well looked after.
Hotel location can't be beat! Some thoughtful details for our kiddos! Great breakfast although pricey. Nice, clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay!
Totally recommended Hotel. Everything was perfect. all the staff was incredibly polite and helpfull, in the reception, the restaurant, the cleaning staff, all of them. One of the best buffet breakfast I´ve ever tried. Great quality and varierty. Special mention to Petra who helped us so much during the check-out.
Very enjoyable stay with you. Everyone was polite and frendly. The breakfast was great and the bar that we used in the evening was good although maybe some softer lighting might add to the atmosphere.
We love this hotel and stay here every time we visit London. We have stayed here 6/7 times in the last 18 months and rooms are always spotless. The beds are very comfy and big. In a studio room Theres a tv in the bedroom and one in living room (which they turn into second bedroom using the sofa bed if staying with children) . The tv can connect to your phone which allows you to watch netflix, disney plus etc. breakfast has plenty of choice but is very expensive and goes up every time we stay (new years eve we paid £10 each, February half term £15 each, easter it was £20 each) . Location is ideal- 2 minute walk to London eye, 5 minutes to waterloo station. You can see the london eye from some of the bedrooms. The bathroom has a separate bath and Shower which i found handy. In a studio room you also get a little fridge, kettle and microwave , iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Theres a little pull out washing line above the bath.…
