You know when you book, that this is a very basic hotel, hence the price. However, the staff are super friendly and helpful. I’d rather a basic room which is super clean, which is what you get here, than a massive room with all you need, but dirty. I will definitely stay again ☺️
Excellent service, attentive staff, very clean, location top for my needs. I did not spent a lot of of time in doors as is so close to all main attractions in London. All within walking distance, we even took a walk along the river all the way to tower bridge. Nothing to fault. Highly recommended for short stay due to the lack of space in the room. Will definitely return every time visiting London.
Not great, and I really felt for the guys working there as they were doing their absolute best in difficult circumstances. Rooms are tiny, which isnt unusual for London, but the issue was the heat and the lack of ventilation. The first room had an air conditioning unit which wasn't working so I was moved to another where the overarching air conditioning operated but it was still very stuffy. I slept poorly and am very tired today. The lads working there were great and did everything they could, and credit to them, the issue was that the infrastructure of the building is poor
Dreadfull experience, the room was tiny, the bathroom was like a photo booth, I asked for a larger room to be told it would cost me £51.40, my Yorkshire terrier has more floor space in kennels . The only plus bedding and towels were clean. We will not be returning.
Not worth the money. Good location sure but there wasn't even room to open a cabin bag on the floor. The location is not worth it if you're staying more than one night and you're more than one person. No wardrobe, no table, nothing. Shower was basically over the toilet. Probably 1.5 m2 of floor space. At least say no to the first floor if they ask, maybe rooms are better on other floors... . Friendly staff though!
How reception staff treat guests are so bad. Literally just a place to crash for the night when celebrating NYE. No TV remote at first, which was sorted Dodgy plug sockets which the receptionist blamed my U.K. plug and gave me a European - U.K. adapter which was laughable. Hot drinks machine in reception cash only! Comfy bed slept great. Asthmatic being put on the top floor was not good at all. 3 floors up with no lift! 2 Night reception guys were the only friendly people in the hotel, The woman in blue on NYE daytime was the worst receptionist I’ve ever spoken too, as a hotel receptionist myself was shocking to be treated so badly by her. Paid extra for Late Checkout and was woken up by 2 HK outside my room shouting at each other about their rota at 10am. Overall only 1 out of 5 for the bed nothing else.…
Although the room which we booked was small but clean and perfect for a weekend the location was very good for city tours and around food arears. All the staff was really friendly. Stayed 2 days didn't feel like staying away with our families.
Small room, no chairs, tables, glass. No trash bin in the room, only in the toilet. TV and aircon with no remote control. Toilet, sink and shower all in less than 1sqm area. You have to pay £5 for the room to be cleaned. Check out is at 10:00, should pay add £15 if want to extend until 13:00. I paid the night prior our check out then on the next day, went out at 9am for breakfast came back at 11am but unable to get inside our room. Reception said they haven't been updated about the extension and I had to show mobile bank transaction to prove I paid the night prior. By 12:24, room cleaner just barged in our room and I said we extended until 1pm as we're just waiting for the train, she just looked at me with a smirk as if mocking me. Oh, and I paid over £200 for 2 nights for this room. This is a friendly warning, avoid at all cost. Spend more for your comfort, I learned it the hard way.…
I haven't even gotten round to checking in yet but I have emailed this hotel twice with no response. Eventually got through via the phone....18 attempts. The most unhelpful and ignorant staff that I have ever had to deal with. Refused to answer any of my questions but insisted that I just turn up and they will try to find me a room. I have already had confirmation that my room is reserved but the staff say this is not a guarantee and if I am not there on time then my room might not be available.
This is an awful “hotel” the room consists of a bed base and a mattress. There was a tv on the wall with no remote and didn’t work and an air con unit with no remote or button to use. That is all. The bathroom had a toilet sink and shower the same size as an airplane toilet. I’m pretty sure prison would provide a better room and facilities. We had booked to stay 3 nights and checked out on day 1. If this hotel was free I still wouldn’t stay in it. Just don’t book here, I thought it would be “okay” as we wouldn’t be in the room much but just don’t, save your money and book somewhere else, anywhere!
