We selected this centrally located hotel, close to Buckingham Palace and the sights, for our daughter’s wedding weekend in June and spent a wonderful few days here. We held the wedding dinner in the Shooting Gallery which was spectacular. A beautiful, elegant setting and most importantly efficient service and attentive staff. Our guests commented that the courses were some of the best they had tasted, especially the Fillet of Beef “Rossini” Special mention for the F&B Manager (and his team) who was calmness personified. The bedrooms were extremely stylish as you would expect from a Kit Kemp hotel. You step off the busy streets to an oasis of cool, calm and artistic vibes. Congratulations to the GM for overseeing a wonderful weekend for our family and close friends. Your team often went above and beyond expectations, for example last minute cleaning of the wedding gown which was slightly damaged in transit. Overall a memorable four night stay.

I’d challenge anyone to find a better boutique hotel in London. The staff were immensely helpful but also relaxed and friendly unlike a lot of pretentious hotels in London. The room was enormous and beautiful. The pool was incredible and just as it looks in the amazing photos. I really am blown away by The Haymarket and we can’t wait to stay here again.

Traveled mid July 2022 and stayed at the Haymarket Hotel for the 3rd time. This is my wife's absolute favorite boutique city hotel on the planet... so much better than The Ritz, The Gore, and other "prestigious" London hotels. Easily one of the top 5 hotels in all of London. The rooms are decorated exquisitely, the service is 2nd to none, the location is perfect for anything to do in London, and the staff always have an authentic smile and genuinely want to help in any way possible. From our initial greeting by Sophie at the front desk on to the immediate personal greeting from the General Manager, Mark Surguy, upon arrival, to the restaurant staff led by Alex (from Spain) who spent time talking with us ensuring our meals and experiences were delightful... other staff including Steffy (from Greece) who provided personalized written travel thoughts back to her home country as well as Engelbart and "Mint" (sorry about the spelling??) and the bar staff who were always so pleasant and helpful... of course the staff behind the scenes whom we did not meet did their jobs superbly including keeping the rooms fresh on the daily... THANK YOU Mark for the superb job leading everyone at the Haymarket helping to ensure our stay and our visit in London was one of the best ever. We will return and look forward to seeing you all soon. The Taylors

Second stay at this wonderful hotel. Great location for the theater. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff and lovely restaurant. We had a deluxe room and they made the king into 2 large twins and it was perfect for my daughter and me. We will be back!

I began visiting The Haymarket in 2007 and in the last 15 years I return time and time again as quality and ambiance never faults at this hotel. For many years i enjoyed the bar and restaurant, sometimes on a weekly basis. Latterly i have combined using these spaces with staying at the hotel now i no longer live in London. It’s clear staff recruitment and staff training are high on Firmdale’s list of priorities. I have found this after visiting all the Firmdale chain (including New York). The Haymarket will always hold a special place for me as i also had my wedding reception there (so some would say i’m biased) From breakfast, through lunch, onto cocktails and into dinner, The Haymarket has never lost its desire to strive for exactly what the customer wants. Many staff have been there for as long as I have been visiting and yet after all this time they still work with a need to fulfil a customer’s needs. The rooms are sublime. Firmdale’s interiors are world renowned and this is evident in every individually designed room. The quality in every room continues to astound me. From the amazing beds, to the linen, the bathroom fit outs and the furnishings. We left london 6.5 hrs ago and when we return we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. From the moment you walk into the Haymarket there is an air of calm, even on the busiest of days. Staff never fail to smile, constantly give eye contact and welcome anyone wanting to look around at the stunning interior. The award winning pool downstairs will capture your imagination the moment you dip your toe in the water. Please venture to this hotel and ask to see the shooting gallery, this private function space will leave you dreaming of wanting to dine there with friends. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Having just spent a week there I’m now back home looking forward to a return trip later this year. Thanks Mark and the whole team at the Haymarket for yet another memorable stay.

This is a 50-room hotel around the corner from Trafalgar Square. It is attached to Theatre Royal Haymarket. It is an understated and very stylish property that is luxurious, quiet, and very modern. We stayed five nights, one in a junior suite and then in a deluxe room on the first floor facing Suffolk Place with a small outdoor space like a Juliet balcony. We made the switch because of a booking glitch handled quickly and satisfactorily by the hotel. Both rooms were large and decorated with flair and a unique sense of style. There was plenty of closet space and room to unpack. There were two large window-doors leading to the balconies. The lighting was excellent and there were plenty of outlets. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, as was the bedding. The headboard was fabulous in color and fabric. The towels were Frette. The bathroom was lovely and equipped with double sinks and a bidet. Breakfasts consisted of a small buffet of fruits, including delicious berries, breads, pastries, cereals, and yogurt, as well as an ala carte menu. English breakfast and eggs Benedict were wonderful. Staff were uniformly welcoming, professional, and eager to provide exceptional service. They epitomize excellence in running a fine hotel that is a great retreat and somewhere you crave returning to. In particular, Amine, the clef d'or concierge, was tremendous. We had written some time before arrival to ask whether the hotel could secure tickets to a certain play which was difficult to book. He went personally to the box office days running in order to try. He was ultimately successful and we were able to see the play. This was one stellar example of the kind of service he graciously provides. He is a treasure. Without question, this is the London hotel we will return to. It felt like home.

This is a great hotel. The kids loved it and so did the adults. They gave the kids milk and cookies at bed time, they don't tell you off for jumping in the pool, there's an honesty bar where you can have a nightcap without having to venture into the real world, and there's a high quality restaurant for breakfast and meals. I did experience some poor service in the restaurant on my first night which was disappointing, but I know these things happen sometimes. I'd definitely stay here again, it's great.

From the friendly welcome and lovely staff, to the finishing touches with hand written note with chocolates , we had a wonderful stay. The Hotel is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Couldn’t find a single fault , bar is lively in the evening , breakfast was delicious , bed was ridiculously comfortable and the location is 2nd to none. This was a treat for us as it’s not your run of the mill hotel, but it was worth every single penny and we will save to come again. You can sometimes treat yourself and feel a bit out of place but, we didn’t at all, everyone was so welcoming , thank you for a wonderful weekend.

We stayed here in October. Straight away from entering the hotel we were greeted by the super friendly and attentive staff. I cannot say how good all the staffs were from the door to reception, cleaning to the bar staff and everyone in the restaurant too. We had room 100 with our own outside terrace area. We took our 6 year old daughter with us and all the staff went above and beyond to engaging with us all. The room was beautiful plenty of space and our daughter loved the TV in the bathroom, cleaning was excellent and my daughter was given a lovely gift on arrival. The swimming pool area was gorgeous and would rival most top spa pools. We ate in the restaurant for two evenings and the food was lovely, again all the restaurant staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. The location is perfect, central for almost everything in London I would highly recommend this hotel and we certainly return anytime we are in London without hesitation. Thank you for making our stay one to remember!
