I stayed at this hotel for a recent trip to London. Location is OK, a short 5-10 minute walk to the nearest tube station where you can easily reach all over London. Price for this room was about the same as you'd expect for a hotel so in comparison the size of the room and what you get in this...

This beautiful building houses some lovely rooms. Mine was a self-service zing size room on the ground floor which was small but perfectly formed, with a little kitchenette. The staff were fantastic and location is just wonderful. The inner garden of the huge 1930's complex is truly magical you could even forget that you were in a bustling city like...

We stayed for 10 days. The location is great. Apartment was very good but I would suggest a coat hanger in the hallway and a full length mirror. Some more glasses, plates and cutlery wouldn't hurt. Other than that the service was good. Very convenient place to stay in London.

My husband and I stayed for one night at Dolphin House. The location is excellent being only a few minutes walk to Pimlico tube station and an easy walk to The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben etc. We arrived early in the morning and although we were unable to check in early we could leave our luggage with reception. Upon...

We had a one night stay in an economy double room. The room was spacious, and attractively furnished and decorated in a traditional, elegant style. The king sized bed was particularly comfortable and made up with good quality bedding and bedlinen. The room had what was called a 'pantry' style kitchen, meaning a fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, and it was...

Stayed May bank holiday weekend with friends. Booked a 2 bed apartment with 1 bathroom at £570 for 2 nights. Couldn't get an early check in so didn't get into room till 3.15 but had a free upgrade to a 2 bath apt which was a nice gesture. Decent size apt, 2 good bedrooms, small kitchenette but had complimentary milk...

When in London for work, I tend to stay in or around Pimlico. It is handy for Westminster and has a great atmosphere. The Dolphin was a new one on me and I was very pleasantly surprised. Using the Boris Bike to get from Westminster, there's a docking station round the corner, and a short walk to the building. Good...

I will be posting a written complaint to the manager in the morning. Failed to replace the faulty TV after I reported it. Didn't make the promised alarm call. Bar closed at 10.30 because they needed to prepare the room. Long queue for breakfast, only to be told there was a long wait for a table! Complaints dismissed. Expensive room...

I am deeply sorry to hear we failed you, and you did not experience the high level of service that your work colleagues had received. Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
