Large apartments although unfortunately not all of them have a hob which is strange. Great that they allow pets but unfortunately at an insane price of £150 per stay! Also great that they have underground parking but at £35 for 24 hours it all seems to add up quite quickly. The swimming pool has been closed quite a while for maintenance and I believe it will be closed for a further month atleast which is a shame.

So pleased to have discovered Dolphin House apartments. Great location, easy booking, friendly and helpful staff. The apartment was larger than we’d expected, clean and had everything we needed. Huge comfy bed, good wifi, lovely towels. Not fancy in any way but felt completely safe . Useful little shops on site. Very good coffee / croissant in foyer for breakfast. No time to try pool and gym - next time.

I am currently staying here with my mum for a birthday get away for her and I cannot get over how poorly we have been treated. First off we were greeted at the desk by a woman who was explaining that they will be charging us an extra £60 for a room deposit which would be paid if anything were to be damaged etc. When I went to pay the bill for the 2 nights the £60 was already added on which I questioned, she said they would block my card so I couldn’t spend it but it won’t be taken from my bank. I questioned her wording about her blocking my card as this was abit concerning and she fully rolled her eyes at me, huffed then snapped saying I won’t be charged if there’s no damage or problems. My mother was outraged by how we were spoken to but the woman said we wouldn’t be charged the full amount by the Sunday so we left it. Checked my bank and called Barclays and they confirmed that the money had been fully taken by the building so she lied about this as she said it would just be on hold. I will later update this post if we don’t get our money “given back” as promised. Secondly we booked in a slot for swimming and we’re spoken to like dirt and questioned if we were even staying in the hotel and then asked for proof, even tho this was pre booked and they didn’t ask for this yesterday? We then saw the staff watching us - in general we felt like we were being discriminated against for some reason maybe because we were in comfy clothes going to and from the pool….it’s the only possible explanation of why we were being treated like this? Overall the location is great however the bath water was only lukewarm, the most disappointing factor bar the customer service was that the pool was absolutely frozen. We were prewarned by other leaving guests that it was unswimable which we can also confirm - not a very relaxing break so far and definitely wouldn’t return.

A lovely find. Would definitely use again. Studio apartment was spacious, spotless and had everything you could need, including a small kitchen area. I think for London it’s excellent value. Staff are very friendly and the reception is fresh and clean, with that reassuring smell of bleach! The area is surprisingly quite, but a walk to the nearby Vauxhall Bridge and you can get a boat to the eye, or have a walk (half hour or so) Good location to Victoria Palace Theatre- 15-20 mins walk, or £9 in an Uber. The apartments are on a square with a lovely courtyard in the middle. There’s a bar, grill and even a small shop. Recommend.

We often have trips to London, staying in faceless often not that good hotels…..then we found Dolphin House! This was our third stay at DH. All apartments we have stayed in were lovely. The beds are enormous! Lounge chairs could be a bit bigger, but a very minor point. Kitchenette is fine, who wants to make three course dinner! We had a larger suite recently and this had coffeemaker and pods. Apartment was clean and cleaned regularly, large fluffy towels, loads of storage, usual stuff, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There’s a small shop onsite for milk, tea etc. However the highlight for us were the grounds, whilst not exactly ‘manicured’ a fab addition to an already brilliant apartment, just nice to sit with book, listen to fountain. Very central, buses 3 min walk into centre, tube similarly close and Victoria station 10 min walk. Sadly restaurant was closed when we visited but again close walking distance are pubs offering great food. Pool was open but didn’t use, will do next time…oh yes there will definitely be a next time! Highly recommend
