We absolutely loved our family staycation at Shangri-la Hotel at The Shard. It's a whole different experience to see London from way up there. As cheesy as it may sound, honestly, it was truly magical waking up in the clouds on my birthday. The morning before that, I woke up to the most amazing sunrise above London. I sat on the sofa with my 5 month old baby in our pyjamas captivated by the view. The best part of the room, apart from the super cozy bed, is the bathroom. We took so many bubble baths day and night with the blinds wide open looking over the capital city. When it got darker, we were more discrete and pulled the blinds down for some parts of the window. I was spoilt for choice with the selection of asian food in the in room-dining menu! We really wanted to try the restaurants but with the baby we thought it'd be a lot more convenient for us to eat in the room. Both nights I went on an asian food feast galore while the husband ordered more western meals. The Singapore Laksa is super tasty. I'd go there again just for that... oh and the crayfish dish too. The hotel is tastefully decorated. When we were there they had the place covered in pink to support breast cancer awareness month. There's so many lovely outlets in the hotel with views over the city. We took advantage of it and got some nice family photos taken. Credits to our friend photographer. I just want to say thank you to Kurt and his awesome team, and a special thanks to Noémie, for making our stay special and memorable. We will definitely come back again for another staycation!

A huge thank you to Molly and the events team for making our civil wedding one to remember! Molly went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and our requests were satisfied. Our wedding was planned with such short notice due to COVID but this didn’t stop the events team being so understanding and we are so thankful for this! A beautiful venue, stunning views, tasty food and amazing service - all these things contributed to making our special day so memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, dinner at Ting and use of the spa! Everything was top quality. We look forward to visiting the Shard again in the future. Thank you!

We wanted to have a last evening out before lockdown so we decided to go to the Shard because we wanted to have the most beautiful landscape of London. We were a bit late so we were seated in the middle of the bar but our server Fabio took care of us and got us this amazing table right at the corner with amazing views. He also gave us some cocktail recommendations which were very delicious. Overall great place to visit and very professional service.
