Great hotel and very good value for money. Had a top floor room which was extremely quiet and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also very good value and a good range of choice. Would definately recommend and stay again.

This was the first time I stayed in a Premier Inn...it wont be the last..First rate reception staff who were helpful and could do enough to help in organising taxis for myself and my elderly mum. The room was large, very clean and I was impressed with the shower, always plenty of hot water. I was able to adjust the... More

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff even though we checked in 2 hours early they still found us a room straightaway. Clean & comfortable room. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations and matched the Premier Inn TV commercials re the City. Good clean facilities - good food - good nights sleep in comfortable bed. Location of this hotel being just a short walk to the Tower of London and DLR & the Underground is convenient for both business or sightseeing trips.

We stayed in a family room, which was spacious and very quiet (which is surprising, considering the proximity of railroad). Very easy commuting to city center and ExCel center. Tower of London, Tower Bridge and charming St Katharine Docks just around the corner. Good breakfast, great value for money. Friendly staff. Only (small) minus was lack of a fridge in... More

We enjoyed our stay here. We booked a family room and it was perfect for our needs (2 adults and a 3 and 1 year old). Room was spacious and very clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was included in our rate and I think it was excellent value for money. We had a problem with the wifi despite paying for the... More

I was suggested this chain by a friend and I have been really satisfied by the quality provided at a very good price for London. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast choice is amazing, with a very good deal for families. The location is very convenient, about 5 minutes walk to Tower Hill underground station and the Tower of... More

Needed a place to stay for a night. This hotel was good value but hard to find. Easy walking distance from Tower Bridge which suited me. Room was functional and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good but annoying to have to deal with one of these coffee machines ... prefer pouring from a jug. Orange juice was syrupy and... More

Came here for a long weekend break with my husband. I called before we arrived to request a room with a view of the shard as we would be visiting there for our anniversary. They only have a small selection of rooms with a view and I'm pleased to say we were given one. Room 504 Staff are very friendly... More

I was here for a brief overnight while attending an evening event at the Tower of London. Simple and polite check-in. Rooms are basic but had what I needed - a bed, a wardrobe, a phone, a shower. Provided you go in expecting just that, you'll be fine with a clean and decent-value room very well placed for that part... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighborhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
