We asked for an accessible room as my husband is a wheelchair user, and it certainly had plenty of space, with a large double and a single bed and a wet room. We were offered assistance to and from our room with our suitcase, and the receptionist kept it for us while we ate breakfast. She also found us an... More

Stayed for 4night on the 5th floor, room 504. Usual clean room and the bed was really comfortable.the air conditioning was very welcome. Just a few minor gripes. The room has no view, except the side of the church next door, as in a lot of these hotels there was very little storage space for 2 people.the bathroom also was... More

Me and my Mum stayed here for 2 nights and it was brilliant for what we paid. Check in was from 2 pm but we got there at 12.45 and they let us into our room with no charge. Our room was on the 4th floor and was very spacious. Twin beds which were super comfy. Kettle with tea and... More

This was our 4th visit to this particular Premier Inn. It was lovely to be recognised & acknowledged by the reception staff. Great location. Nearby pubs & Tesco express, Minutes from Tower Hill Station, St Katherines Dock & Tower of London. Bus service nearby to Covent Garden.

Great Location only 5 minutes walk from Tower Hill tube station. Receptionist asked if we were visiting for anything in particular and when we said it was my birthday she gave us her 'favourite' room. Large room on 5th floor comfortable bed, good bathroom and a decent hairdryer. When we arrived back in the evening there was a bunch of... More

We had just one Saturday night here. The staff are really on the ball, no grumps and very efficient. Good breakfast, a very comfortable bed, and all round a pleasing stay. Good value too amongst our overpriced London Hotels ( compare the rest of Europe ) Also they checked us in early ( we had just pooped in to drop... More

I didn't like paying 2 different prices for Monday/Tuesday night, but we had a big twin room at the front and air-con so this made up for it. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean. It's close to the Tower Hill DLR and a couple more minutes walk to the tube/underground station. It's about a 5... More

When we booked this hotel we had in mind the usual Premier Inn standard - comfy bed, air conditioning, clean and good bathroom. All that was fine but there were a few niggles; chiefly the lack of storage space. We had an 18inch rail for hanging and that was it - no shelves or drawers. We had to live out... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighborhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
