We booked a family room for four. The reception and room were very clean and modern. The room had wooden floors which were very clean too. The availability of tea and coffee was from the table in reception rather than in the room. This would have been OK for a couple but is really different for a family with young... More

Hotel with good location, near Hide Park and Kensington Gardens. Underground stations in the street of the hotel. Very small rooms, but with basic comodities for those who use the hotel only to sleep. Good bed, good breakfast and nice staff.

The foyer was smart and the location great for exploring Central London and I understand that available space in this area is at a premium. However, our double room was so small that there was barely room to move around the bed and we certainly couldn't pass each other. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and I had the worst... More

My husband and I love staying at this hotel when we visit London. Yes, the rooms are super small but we don't come to London to spend our time in our room so that doesn't bother us. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and most importantly they have air conditioner which is a big plus in the summer.... More

At first glance, the room was modern and attractive and yet sharing the room for 7 days needed a more efficient use of space. Notably, there was no a place to put clothes except in the closet with only 4 hangers. While there was space under the bed for rolling containers, this space was too small for our suitcases, so... The hotel is a bit pricey for what you get, but as is everything in London. The rooms are small, but enough if you don't plan to stay inside. The hotel would maybe need to be refreshed a bit, however, I can't really say it was dirty. Don't go there for the breakfast, which is pretty poor. Beside of that,... More

I normally don't write reviews for hotels; however, I feel the need to write one for this particular hotel. My biggest complaint was the dirtiness of my room. The carpet was so filthy that I felt the need to wear flip flops when walking on it. There was a cover for the window which was also stained and filthy. There... More

We stayed here for 1 night after watching Stevie Wonder in Hyde Park. It was approximately a 20 min walk from Hyde Park where the stage entrance was located. The rooms are small but everything you need if you're looking for somewhere clean and tidy to sleep, shower and have a bit of breakfast in the morning. The shower room... More

Basically if you're paying £100 a night or whatever we paid to stay at a hotel in central London within 50 metres of a tube station and 200 metres of Kensington/Hyde park, you're not going to get an amazing 5star hotel and masses of room. As a result ignore the people giving this 1*. The rooms were clean and the... More

Would not stay in this place again. Holes in the carpet, stains on the mattress, cramped room. Breakfast room is not adequate for the number of residents, we were asked to move if we had finished. Breakfast was sparse and the staff were not friendly. The lift opens directly into the breakfast area and you walk into people eating. It... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
