I have been coming to the hotel for many years and although is innovative and creative the service from the staff is always great, specially Maurizio at the reception, which make a difference when stay away. The hotel has been slightly upgraded since last time I went. The quality of food in the Grill is always great with good rapport...

The hotel has a great location. With a quality staff and service, with clean room and quality material but .. - Room breakfast not various. - The hotel bar is too bubbling and overcrowded in the evening.

The hotel has a great location and is fine when everything is working, but during my second stay here, when my TV was not working, they would just respond that they will try to get someone to come up, or that they will speak to the person who spoke to me previously to check on this, and no one ever...

I did not really expect it - when the taxi drove me to the hotel I did not see a 'hotel' sign on it - thought it was a joke as there was a crowd of people in front of the building. Well, this is a very trendy place where many young Londoners come for a drink or a party....

I stayed here last week since our company has just moved into the area and I'm trying out the local hotels. The Hoxton looks great, the bar is lively and it's obviously a popular hang out spot. The trendy theme is continued throughout and the room was comfortable. The problem I had was the noise. I was on the first...

I stayed at the hotel for one night after a work event. I arrived late, although the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome (the same member of staff was on reception this morning when I checked out very early for my train). The hotel is very smart and the room had a different feel to usual hotels...

Stayed at the Hox for three nights while on business in the area. The welcome was very friendly, my room was comfortable (small!) and breakfast service was very good. It's a busy place but we managed to have a couple of cocktails one night, and all were very good.

This is a lovely design hotel in the fun district of Shoreditch in East London. It's conveniently located for both Tube and Rail with a Cooperative and several bars/restaurants around. The hotel is very fancy with a bar/restaurant and lovely clean rooms. The rooms are not huge but they are very well kept and nicely decorated. The beds are so...

We've stayed here several times it's very well designed contemporary and urban so has a great vibe. Located in a lovely area with plenty of choice nearby whether eating out bars or markets. Staff are always warm and welcoming rooms are great too although have to say even with the window open (2nd floor) we were very hot in the...

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
