No power sockets in the room besides 2 in a closet for some reason, no toilet scrubs, broken closet doors, and a VERY disappointing breakfast. To have any hot food, there is a surcharge, and the cold food was awful. The bathtub was dirty, and the bathroom was very old fashioned (definitely not matching the high price I paid for it). I have had great experiences with NH Hotels, but this one was an unpleasant outlier.

I am extremely happy to have chosen this hotel for some relaxation, having researched for a few days. I feel I found a great bargain gem for October. It wasn't seamless: the first room was wonderful (515) and you had a view of the trees at the back of the hotel. With the window open, you heard rustling of the leaves. Alas, it wasn't to be due to the constant plip plop of the toilet. I was changed to another room (511) which was small, pokey, in need of some decoration and with a view of a wall to the left and right of it - and some trees. I got my 3rd and final room on the 6th floor which is lovely. The service has been wonderful: the maintenance guy was up like a rocket (even 5* haven't managed this) and tried his best to sort out the toilet; Reception has been really informative and consistent (same Receptionist - which has helped); breakfast staff were attentive and the pre-booked breakfast (as discussed at Check-In) was continental which was explained and this was fine. You get your own hot drinks. The app works well and I have been able to request more tea-bags, towels, sleep kit, hand cream, etc. I've asked for a room clean which needs to be booked. Only trouble I've had is getting (despite app requests) glasses and hair conditioner. This is interesting as I think some women who stay here might come from Southern Europe and REALLY NEED conditioner. Finally, just want to add that each item ordered on the App has been delivered really quickly. Thank you to you all.

We booked a superior room with breakfast. We were given a very old and run down room on the sixth floor. With the excuse of the Coronavirus, the hotel does not provide the basic services so no toliet roll was left in the room, no toiletries or glasses in the bathroom other that a soap, no extra pillows, no extra bedding, no slippers, no pen or writing pad, the minibar was empty. The water preassure is so weak that you really cannot have a shower and if you have a long hair, forget about washing it. For the breakfast you have to book a slot the day before and the time cannot be changed even if your plans change. The breakfast is continental with an extremely limited selection of cold items only which you have to pre select on a piece of paper upon check in. If you want a hot breakfast you have to pay £7 extra per person which the hotel does not tell you until you check in. I don't see the connection of having to pay extra money for a hot breakfast with the excuse of the Covid. This is a very petty way of making extra money with the excuse of a worldwide pandemic. So, we have booked a superior room with breakfast and we were given a hostel style room with very basic services, we had to pay £14 extra on a top of the breakfast fee just to be able to get a couple of hot food items. The hotel refused to change the breakfast's slot or provide us with a packed breakfast showing no compassion at all for our plans being changed. Apparently, the hotel was full. Really? Empty London streets and the hotel was full? Ha, they wish it was. This is not a four stars hotel at all it more reminds me to a cheap hostel.  Avoid it if you can.

Dear Cintia00, In this period our way of travelling has changed, for this reason NH cares about your health and has reduced contacts in homes to prevent the spread of the virus so as to stop as quickly as possible this period of disastrous global pandemic. We have reduced the amenities in the rooms, so that you do not touch the same more times, but are always available at our Reception or comfortably and unlimited with the use of our app, scanning the code Qr. With the app you can request all the amenities you described above in an unlimited way, if you request at our front office the room could be cleaned daily as usual or , alternatively, we would provide for the change of towels and necessaires. Always for your safety and to avoid dangerous gatherings in the breakfast area we ask the day before the time when you want to have breakfast so that you can sit safely, at a distance from the other guests, in our room. On the sites it is included the continental breakfast (unlimited) but we require a small supplement for English breakfast. Regarding your room, our receptionists team are always available for a change of room, if the one you were assigned is not to your liking. All the distancing measures we take are for your and our safety ,that comes, first of all. We hope to have you back with us in the future, Yours Sincerely Nh Staff

We arrived at hotel at 4pm and our rooms were ready and we was informed about the breakfast that to select what we would like on the form no limits what ever you wanted in list. We went to room one room was bigger which was set up with banners and sweets for my daughters 15th birthday. Staff are really nice and friendly and the place has a lovely garden. Only reason not gave 5 score as I found the shower not hot water. Otherwise all good
