Travelers' Choice
Set within the Sea Containers building - originally designed by acclaimed American architect Warren Platner - on London’s South Bank, the hotel boasts 359 guest rooms and suites, Sea Containers restaurant serving up fresh modern cuisine, an award-winning experimental cocktail bar spearheaded by master mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana, and an exclusive rooftop bar with panoramic views over the River Thames. Designed by Design Research Studio under the creative direction of visionary Tom Dixon, Sea Containers London is also home to a maritime-inspired 56-seat cinema and spa. Inspired by the golden age of ocean cruising, a time when exotic ingredients were introduced to the world, and an abundance of fresh local produce was celebrated, the three distinctive food and drink venues each offer a dynamic experience. Flavourful dishes range from nourishing to hearty at Sea Containers Restaurant, which is perfect for an al fresco lunch by the river, sunset cocktails or an atmospheric dinner. Experience innovative cocktails in the award-winning Lyaness, voted as one of the top 50 World’s Best Bars, featuring a signature electric blue seating as well as the original sweeping green marble bar. Take in panoramic views of the London skyline from our rooftop bar 12th Knot, with its beautifully appointed lounge and outdoor terrace for unrivalled views over the River Thames.

From the moment you arrive at SeaCo, it feels welcoming and elegant. Taz, James and Yaseen were all excellent. The friendliest gentleman who remembered our names and offered nothing but kindness. The hotel room was clean and spacious to say the least (Deluxe King Room) I think the bathrooms could use a soap holder given they are still offering bars of soap for the hand sink. But not a big deal. Agus spa was also top quality. Best way to end a 6 week trip. Thank you Sea Co!!

Stayed at Sea Containers and had a fabulous 1 night stay visiting family in London. Debora on reception was welcoming, friendly and ensured we had all the necessary information to make the most out of our stay. Many thanks to Victor Wareborn Front of House Manager at Sea Containers for his assistance in making our stay so memorable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was ideal! We had a double double room for our family and the beds were delightful. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Taz who helped with our luggage and then gave us helpful tips the rest of the trip.

Amazing hotel! I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone visiting London. We had a river deluxe view room and the views were incredible. All the staff were wonderful, Yoseen and Edi both helped with all of our luggage, and very helpful!

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday and we couldn’t fault anything from the moment we arrived. Marlyn on reception was so lovely, gave us a glass of champagne and checked us in. The room was a deluxe with a city view overlooking the river and every detail was fabulous including the bed which was sooo comfortable. When we returned from the surprise birthday lunch there was a birthday plate in our room with a card. We used the Lyoness bar which was amazing, great vibe and service exceptional. Breakfast the next morning was very good, plenty of choice. Marlyn checked us out and was so very lovely, a credit to the hotel.

Twice in 24 hours staff knocked on our door to check mini bar, not necessary both times inconvenient. Otherwise everything perfect. Service, food and great ambience in the hotel. The view up and down the Thames was great and no noise from outside.

A lovely experience at this hotel located near the Tate Modern art gallery. We went to celebrate our anniversary and were greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival. The staff also gave our child a teddy bear which made us all feel very welcome. The room was spacious with a decent view and the breakfast was excellent. Well worth the money. Thank you to Elizabeth at the front desk for the welcome.
