Due to its location only a short walk from the Baker Street Station (Sherlock Holmes, anyone?), this beautifully decorated boutique hotel is convenient to most London attractions. The room was cozy, clean and well-appointed, the bathroom a bit small but adequate. The hotel does lack an elevator. I did not find this to be a problem, but it could be...

I decided to stay at this hotel after many days of researching and reviewing of the various traveler's feedbacks (not only at Tripadvisor but also at other travel websites). This hotel seem to received high recommendation consistently, so I decided to give it a try and I couldn't have made a better decision! The location - Initially, I was concern...

We spent 11 nights at this cosy hotel, just like a home, located in a very calm street of Marylebone. The young, helpful, happy and professional staff makes everything even better. Our room, number 23, was the “comfy type”, adequate in size for a couple, well decorated and equiped. The bed was top and the bathroom brand new. The Baker...

I stayed in this hotel after moving out of the nearby Thistle Marble Arch (which was a disaster!!) and it proved to be a great choice. Even in the basement level room I found comfort, cleanliness and peacefulness. It is a boutique hotel where they value the customer and are willing to take an extra step to accommodate all your...

As part of celebrating my husband's 50th birthday we were looking for a small hotel in a great location. The Montagu did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and flexible and really made our experience feel like a home from home. We booked a swanky room - (room 12) first floor. We had 3 double doors which extended from...

Stayed there the night before my wedding. I can honestly say that the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. They even paid for my taxi drivers tip because I didnt have enough money on me! The rooms are maybe a tad small but for the price well worth it. Breakfast was lovely.

Having just returned to Australia (8weeks away) we want to take the opportunity of saying how much we enjoyed Montagu Place Hotel. We arrived early a.m. but checking luggage in and leaving was not a problem. Problem is a word this hotel does not use. We would ask "where to eat", "how do I get too", "do you have a...

We stayed in one of the Swanky rooms, which was very comfortable, never seen a bed that huge! The bathroom was very nice, clean and full of light. The hotel team made us feel very special and were very attentive, extremely nice and helpful. We would definitely be back. Location is great and the breakfast was very yummy! Best croissant...

When I made the reservation for 2 nights at the Montagu Place there were only comfy rooms left, which are really small, though nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower and a good hairdryer (not usual in hotels). I was able to notice our next door room (# 22) was much larger and that would be my choice...

Stayed here on a trip with friends visiting the sights. A little more expensive than we usually pay for, but felt like we got value. Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
