I came here for a night away with my mother in law after going to the o2 for a concert. Whilst I appreciate that we paid £65 for a double room in central London, I really don't think it is a lot to ask for the walls to be white and not to be falling apart. Bed was creaky, there...

The Belgrave House Hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from Victoria station. Lots of great little conveniences around the area including food stores, pubs, and restaurants. However, the room was probably adequate for what we paid. A double and single bed for me and my partner, and a run-down, moldy bathroom with no floor separator...

Booked two double rooms for myself and partner and my parents. OK, the pictures on the booking.com web-site are NOT a true reflection of what the hotel actually look like. The reception area is new and clean which can not be said about our two rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Did not risk the breakfast and couldn't...

This hotel has 2 excellent items: location and location. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is copious served in light and clean area. The rest looks like a setting for a horror movie. The staircase is steep, shabby and the carpets are dirty and smell of fungus. The bathroom is old and ugly and dirty, washbasin is broken, wc...

I with my boyfriend stayed in this hotel a week ago. We read all these reviews, so have been prepared for the worst. But it wasn´t. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast were good, lots of choice. We had a room on top floor, what was very nice. Room was small and a bathroom was a little smelly, but it...

After reading some of the reviews here I was not looking forward to the stay but i was pleasantly surprised with what i found. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The en-suite room (at the front on first floor) was spacious and clean with full kitchen and tea/coffee. The shower/toilet cubicle was of the 'pod' type and so quite...

With stained, shoddy furniture that looked like it had been pulled out of a skip, a room that hasn't been decorated in a long time, a distinct lack of cleanliness, damage to the floor, a rattling old window that let in every single sound from the road outside, an ancient mattress with springs that poked up into my back, and...

I visited London with two members of my family and opted to stay at the Belgrave House because of it's location. Extremely close to the Victoria Theatre (Wicked The Musical!) as well as shopping centres and Victoria centre itself. No shortage of restaurants and pubs nearby. The price we paid for one night for three of us (two adults sharing...

The title says it all. Close to Victoria station where the Gatwick Express stops and a 5 minute walk from the station. That's where the niceties end. First we were put in the attic (that's the best way to describe it) some four flights up. A tiny space that could barely fit one suitcase and impossible really for 2 persons...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
