This place was exactly what I expected, and when booking it, I just wanted something slightly better than a hostel, so I got what I wanted. I knew it would be small and I would have to walk up stairs, but I didn't mind. My only issues were the heat and the shower pressure. Never having been in London in... More

This hotel was superbly located (for trains and Buckingham Palace) and an excellent place to stay. The bathroom was huge, the bed very comfortable and the room unexpectedly roomy. It was very affordable and I would probably choose to return here if I go back to London. The 5 pound deposit for the TV remote is inconvenient but no big... More

Belgrave House Hotel was very conveniently located close to Victoria Station, the reception was friendly, wifi worked and breakfast was nice. However, the very tiny room was not air conditioned (we were there in July) and the many stairs were narrow & quite challenging with suitcases. Ok for a quick stopover during a cooler time of year.

If you are looking for an affordable place to spend few nights, this hotel might be your choice. It is not a fancy hotel, well maintained, small bathrooms not really comfy for a bigger person but not a big deal. The only con are The los mattresses and quite uncomfortable. I have spent few nights in different occasions in different... More

The front desk staff were all cheerful and helpful. The rooms are small, barebones, and typical of many of these converted terrace house hotels around the train station areas of London. There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow and steep. I had a single room with new looking carpet and old looking drapes. Furnishings were a single... More

London hotels are expensive, this is a little hotel in an excellent location close to Victoria train, tube and coach stations. Buckingham Palace is a 8-10 minutes walk. Lots of places to eat nearby and feels very safe at night. This is a great value for money based for London standards, you'll really get what you pay for, do not... More

Our stay was good. The room was small but enough for a night. The shower is in the middle of the room with a transparent door though! Staff were helpful and they stored our suitcases for a few hours on the last day.

Great location provides access to the city's most beautiful places. The train station and bus station in the neighborhood. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast could be a richer. Bathroom cabin is a bit small.

We booked this hotel as our weekend involved several engagements in the area. The location was excellent - easy walking distance of Victoria station and the places we were visiting. From the varied reviews, we were unsure what to expect. Our room was very small, as expected. We were on the ground floor at the rear, so the room was... More

On arriving at the hotel we were asked to produce the credit card used to book the hotel (despite having paid the full balance in advance). Having been a victim of fraud and had the specific card cancelled, we were not able to do this and were told that they would have to cancel and rebook using the new card... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
