Stayed in a double room for 4/5 nights, and for what you pay it is extremely reasonable. Included in your price is a breakfast which makes it worth your while although there are many places round the corner which do full breakfast. However by staying in Dean Court you are rewarded with location, for someone who is being a tourist... More

Staff were very friendly and we're always there to offer advice. In a great location! Kensington gardens are right on your doorstep and the street right next to Inverness is full of great restaurants and shops. Right next to two tube stations as well if you were looking to go into the city and didn't want to walk. Would stay... More

It was a really nice weekend at Dean Court's. Friendly staff, amazing location, 3' to Metro "Bayswater" station, many different stores and restaurants to choose form, 2 supermarkets till 23 and midnight each, free breakfast, lovely view, peace and calmness, relaxing and quiet.

For the hostel quite decent place to stay for the reasonable price. On the first night the one of the toilets was blocked. Breakfast included in price was big enough. Friendly staff. Not the place for romantic stay, but very good for just sleeping over.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Inverness terrace is a beautiful street with all the white terrace buildings. Close to bayswater tube and also queensway tube. It also has bus connections. Transport is great in this area. It is a hostel more than a hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to couples on a romantic trip... More

My partner and I stayed in the Hotel for 7 nights and were happy with what it has to offer. It is more of a Hostel as it was shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen facilities and it was quite basic. The room was nice and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a great location - really close... More

Do not understand why it was called a hotel. Was a glorified hostel. Shared facilities. Toilet floor was dirty. Our room price included breakfast which was an awkward experience listening to the girl who cooked the breakfast share drunken weekend stories with the other guests. The breakfast was disappointing, burnt sausages and tinned tomatoes. Close to kensington garden though

The area is great - next to Hyde Park and all. Hostel-type. Rented a room with 5 beds, ended up staying with just two neighbours at all times. There was an own sink in the room. Showers are on the 2nd floor (I stayed on the ground one), WC was on mine. Small but fresh breakfast included. Wi-Fi available. Clean.... More

I booked a double room on the 4th floor; when we arrived in the evening the sink was blocked, radiators working only half way and the wallpaper / paint in the wardrobe coming off and there were holes in it; we couldn't fall asleep as it was so cold and it snowed in that night; when the manager was told... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
