While attempting to book what looked like a nice apartment on VRBO we received a response on one that said what we looked at was not available but there was one similar available elsewhere. A little suspicious but not having luck with other places we chose to go with it. We ended up with a studio at the Chelsea Cloisters... More

Mediocre experience. Bad service, since the reception is not necessarily responsable for the apart-hotel services. The appartment was clean, but poor maintained, equipped and decorated. Rooms were very simple and dull, not like the pictures of the website! It had not wifi or internet whatsoever! The option was to pay expensive internet which worked poorly as well. Elevators were always... More

I would have chosen not to give this property any stars but thats not possible. This whole building should be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. Its more like a housing project in an under privalidged part of town than a hotel. I stayed in a single room which was outdated and I was concerned about the cleanliness of my room.... More

I have stayed at Chelsea Cloisters a number of times and you just can't beat the location. It's walking distance to South Kensington Station, shops, museums and restaurants. Rooms vary in quality but they all have a kitchen and washer/dryer which is very convenient when travelling for extended periods.

We stayed here overnight on a Saturday to enjoy this part of London. We arrived early on the Saturday morning and parked next door in an independently owned garage that gives discount for clients of Chelsea Cloisters. £30 for the 1st 24 hours then at £8 per hour. This advertises as a hotel but as it is serviced apartments it... More

The staff was relatively cold but somewhat helpful. The room and bathroom were clean so there's nothing to complain here. The downside was the noise, it was like people were tap dancing right above us late at night, every single night. Later I realized it was probably the corridor's noise upstairs. This was very disturbing.

I realy don't understand all the bad comments. The place is a 3 stars apartments and it deserves more than 3 stars. The only thing is that they don't have AC but with the London weather is ok. The room was spacious, lovely colours and very comfy. The personnel was polite and the cleaners came when we requested. Realy recomand!!

Booked through owners direct ... small which is reasonably normal for London but toilet door wouldn't even close as toilet in the way.. no where to fit bags so tripping over them. Bed you could feel the springs. Very noisy street with people revving cars up and down all night.. Also new school building being built over the road. felt... More

Both very positive and negative feedback could be found on web. A bit worried after reservation was made but luckily our room was not bad. At least we didn’t have poor drainage basin, shower water not hot enough or impolite staff etc. Pros A small but well equipped kitchen – love it A supermarket nearby that opens 7am – midnight.... Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
