There is a demolition site behind the hotel begins work 8 am so no late nights ! The whole room vibrated. The Hotel picture is misleading no nice exterior awnings seats etc, just a large rubbish dumpster in need of emptying. The room - Beds poor, double held together with duck tape, rolled straight to middle of mattress with 2... More

Late June 2016 I was booked to stay at the Union Jack Club prior to going to the Somme for the centenary commemorations but they phoned me the day before check in to say they had to cancel our reservation as the club had been hit by a flood and was closing for repair :( Desperate for two affordable rooms... Was back here two weeks ago. Still good value for money, on a basic no frills somewhere-to-sleep basis. Evidence of steady improvement: new carpets on the stairs and corridors, bathroom refurbished. ..

Spent two nights here in a family room with my wife and two kids. Considering the price this hotel is excellent - It's not far from the Elephant and Castle tube It's a great base for exploring London The hotel is basic but clean The staff were extremely friendly. The only down side is that I couldn't find a good... More

Ideal for somewhere just to lay your head between sightseeing. Staff were lovely when you could find them. Spacious room, good amenities, hot shower, but very noisy and the cleaning could be improved slightly (corners of showers, a few hairs etc) Situated perfectly for getting around London and definitely excellent value for money.

No ventilation in the shower room.one light out of work not changed after 2 days. Quiet and employees kind but my wife will not come back even if it... More

Despite being in one of the more deprived areas that I've visited this hotel was clean and quiet (Did not get woke by any road or rail noise due to the good windows). Decent value for the area. Room was larger than expected, would stay again.

Simple hotel, clean and comfortable. Never been disturbed by noise. There are many good eating places which for London offer incredibly value on nearby Walworth Rd. I have only once had breakfast which was not exciting, but with alternatives nearby, not a problem. No lift. Best value I have found in London

It suited our purpose as somewhere to sleep, and we got a reduced rate through Secret Hotels. The room was clean and there wasn't any noise, However we would have expected more space and a better outlook (we were on the ground floor overlooking the laundry and cleaning store) if we'd paid the full price. It is convenient for the... More

The hotel is situated in Elephant and Castle in South London. It is very close to Elephant and Castle station which has Northern and Bakerloo line direct connections to stations including Paddington, Euston and London Bridge. This is exceptionally convenient for any business or tourist travelers. The amenities in the hotel are good for the price paid, there is free... More
