I’ve stayed here a few times over the last 2 years , I like this hotel it’s very comfortable and relaxing, rooms and beds are very nice indeed , I stayed right at the top which is quite a distance but I’m able bodied , there might have been small children or elderly people staying on the lower floors so not a problem at all , the lady on reception was brilliant and very helpful. I’m trying to sort a business account out for future visits for other staff members from our company,, keep up the good work !! 👍🏽

This was a really nice small hotel with personable employees and a clean room. The breakfast options are great and the fresh baked cookies left for you in your room each day are really nice. The only negative would be that on Friday night the bar got really loud and it was difficult to fall asleep with the noise. But if you know that going in, you could plan better. Also, keep in mind that you will have to carry your luggage up a very tight stairwell, so don't pack your bag heavier than you can carry it! Overall, this was a very nice hotel in a wonderful neighborhood less than a 10 minute walk to the Hammersmith underground station. Euro Travel Coach suggested this hotel as part of our custom itinerary based on our personal wishes in a hotel and they were spot on!

What has happened at The Brook Green Hotel, it used to be a lovely warm welcoming pub and hotel with lovely flower arrangements throughout and happy staff. New management I guess? What a shame. No flowers anymore, no Sunday papers. Staff even look unhappy and not impressed with the changes. Even heard a rumour they were trying to turn it into a Gin Palace.. Why do these companies never learn, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Another London pub on its last legs I guess? Shame on you Young’s.

Hi 'Harrowstring', How equally disappointing to read your review of a recent visit to the Brook Green, but thank you for taking the time to send some thoughts across nonetheless. In the admittedly short time since I have been at the Brook Green myself and the team have worked tirelessly to not only maintain the strengths of the pub and the offer, but also to make improvements where necessary. I'm sure you can understand that after this hard work it can be a little heartbreaking to receive negative feedback. While we have lost two flower arrangements, we still have fresh flowers on the table and some wonderful floral arrangements and hanging baskets outside the pub and in the garden. Regarding what you have heard about us becoming a gin palace, it is true that we would like to focus on the fantastic range of craft gins available to us. We would like to offer this range of gins with some interesting garnishes, suggest to our customers a serve recommended to us by our craft gin suppliers that might not be your standard G&T and create some homemade infused gins to offer something a little different to what you may have tried before. Our focus on gin will stand alongside our existing offer of real ale, craft beers, a range of new and old world wines and fresh seasonal British food. Myself and the team will strive to improve our whole offer as well as having a focus on gin. No major changes are coming to the Brook Green, myself and the team are simply trying to improve our offer, which hopefully you can agree is a good thing for all our customers. Is the Brook Green on its last legs? In a short answer, no. I'm sure you are aware that we had some fantastic investment in our hotel rooms this February, and the feedback as evidenced by the positive reviews from our hotel guests show the pub team and Young's commitment to delivering an outstanding offer and experience to our patrons. The Brook Green had significant investment several years ago, bringing back many original features of the building. The feedback I often receive on the pub and its decor is overwhelmingly positive, and I'm proud to manage such a beautiful London pub on behalf of the company. Myself and the team at the pub will continue to work hard to make the Brook Green a fantastic example of a London pub and boutique hotel, catering for our regular customers, hotel guests and anyone who happens to pop in to the pub alike. As said previously I am proud to manage such a beautiful business, and am excited with what the future will bring for our team and customers. Yours sincerely, Thomas Winfield General Manager

The bar area is bright and spacious room with plenty of comfortable seating. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The Virgin Mary was tasty and well presented, there's a good range of beers and the menu looks promising. Our choices (sausage sandwich, smashed avocado and poached eggs on sourdough) were slow to arrive but were definitely better than average pub grub.

Hi Carolyn, Thank you for taking the time to review your April dining experience with us. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your virgin Mary and that you did enjoy the food. I do apologise that the meals were a little slow, and I'll pass that on to the kitchen team for improvement. I do hope that we will see you again soon. Kind regards, Thomas Winfield General Manager

Attended on a Wednesday evening around 8.30. Unfortunately many of the menu items had sold out. We ordered a sharing platter and burger. On the platter, several items were missing, and we had to repeatedly ask the waiter about flagging this up to the kitchen. We were not clear if these items had sold out and were offered a small side to make up for this (a few pieces of cut up cheddar cheese!). The burger and chips were also quite cold and it seemed it wasn't possible to really do anything about this. It appeared there were only 2 waiters covering both the bar and the restaurant so do understand the difficulty, and this may have been why food was cold. However the food wasn't that cheap (£45 for essentially a large starter, 1 main, 1 red wine and 1 beer) and was rather poor quality. Would possible come back for a drink but not for the food I'm afriad

Hi 'MiniMiniMeg', Thank you for taking the time to review your visit in April. I'm so sorry to hear that your experience didn't match your expectations, clearly something went wrong on the day and I do apologise. We are working hard on improving our food and service consistency in the pub and hopefully if you do give us another chance you will see that this experience was the exception rather than the norm. If you do pop in again please do ask for me at the bar, as I would love to get you a drink on me to apologise for the previous experience. Kind regards, Thomas Winfield General Manager
