Reception was very slow - waited nearly 10 mins both ways, rooms were pleasant and had a room with two double beds (dont know why) TV was tiny - strange for such a luxury hotel - bar was average and mini bar was badly stocked - no fresh coffee and room service was poor - overall nothing to write home...

Sorry your expectations were not fully satisfied. Not sure why there were no toiletries in your room, we normally provide Ajala products which are of high quality and include natural ingredients with no synthetic colourings, fragrances and harmful parabens. Please accept my apologies.

My wife and I stayed at the Grange in June for my birthday weekend. The hotel is in a great location, a stones throw from St Pauls and the river. The Strand and theatreland are a short hop on the bus or a short cab ride. The Hotel room was internal facing and well presented but the lack of natural...

Firstly, this hotel is lovely, the staff were polite and helpful, the hotel and rooms spotlessly clean and the location is amazing. That being said, I do not believe this constitutes as a five star hotel, the rooms were on the smallish side, and I felt some minor details were overlooked which are often provided in hotels. However I thoroughly...

My wife and I stayed, we arrived early, and were promised a room with a view of St. pauls, which was nice, however our room was being made up and to book in at 3. We went fir a drink in the bat, which had a few tables that had dirty plates and empty glasses about, when we asked for...

Situated overlooking St Pauls Cathedral, this is a highly modern hotel, with luxurious rooms. Breakfast is buffet style, and there is a chef serving fried eggs and omlettes, but when we were there, it was impossible for him to cope., due to the large number of guests, and one of his grills was out of use. There are two great...

The hotel is conveniently located, right next to St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, Globe Theatre and a nice walk to Borough Market. The hotel didn't feel 5 star, more like a good 4 star...it was missing luxury but the staff are very courteous and helpful and we were upgraded free of charge which was good. The hotel is...

Have just returned from an amazing night's stay at the Grange, it was my boyfriends 21st birthday so I was looking for somewhere a little special and it certainly did not disappoint. Smooth check in and the staff really can't do enough for you. Room was clean & bed so comfy, had everything we needed. The spa was out of...

Location is great just next to St Paul's. Room was compact but adequate, rather dull decor. Bathroom was better with great shower. Service at reception was friendly and concierge helpful for restaurant recommendations. Several hen parties at the hotel, but we weren't disturbed - rooms are well sound proofed! Pool and spa area bizarrely pumping out house music - certainly...

I stayed in this hotel a couple months ago, and must say this staff is not feasible and all they care about is your money. I have left my personal belongings at one of their hotels, and they want me to pay for a large “processing fee”, postage, and up to a month getting it back. At this point my...

Every day we have hundreds of items of lost property left in our hotels which we bag, label and store in the hope of reuniting with their owners. Regrettably we are not able to return all items all over the world without charging the postage. Lost property can be collected from our hotels without incurring a charge. I believe that...

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
