Grange St Paul's is a modern hotel situated across the road from St Paul's cathedral,it's also close to the millennium bridge, plenty of bars and restaurants close by too,the hotel bedroom was large and had all that we needed, the breakfast was superb,we really couldn't have asked for more! The staff were all friendly and helpful,we didn't use the restaurants but we...

We stayed here on a Saturday night, we had a inner courtyard room so there was no natural light coming in, but the view of the restaurants and lounging areas was very nice. so if you want to see outdoors you should ask for a room with an outdoor view. Unfortunately our spa treatments were cancelled so that was quite...

A lovely building right by St Paul's of which I had a limited view from my room, number 228. This room faces dozens of office buildings so for privacy you need to keep the curtains closed. A shame as the floor to ceiling window begs to let natural light through. Instead, you end up in a dark box. Sitting at...

We were originally booked into another hotel 5 minutes walk away from this hotel but there had been a mix up with our booking and very fortunately for us the agent was able to book us a room the Grange. We were very pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a hotel. We have stayed in this area before but...

Managed to get a good deal at the hotel on Lastminute.com Arrived and used very helpful concierge service. Couldn't book in as we were early but no problems. Came back to the hotel after a mammoth walk around London to find we'd been upgraded to an executive room. Room was fine. Slight issue with shower but nothing unforgivable. Use of...

This is a great hotel in the most spectacular location. From the veranda and terrace of the last floor you have a great view of the cathedral and its dome, and this is enough to justify its existence. It's also very close to the City and walking distance to the Underground station. The architectonic structure is spectacular, with the hotel...

I have stayed here a few times so actually like it a lot. However my last visit I was disappointed at breakfast. Not because of the food. This was excellent just the service as I had to 5 times for a hot drink only in the end helping myself at the drinks station. Apart from this everything was fine. Bedrooms...

Our 2 night visit at St Paul's was fantastic - service attentive and helpful, a pretty good location close to the underground and a very clean, high quality hotel. Will definitely come back in the future

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
