Originally booked at another hotel in the same street, but was move to this hotel due to that the original hotel closed down for my stay. It was easy to find this hotel as it got a central location in Bayswater, and then London. Did a quick check in by a really nice member of staff. My impression was that all staff members here was really attentive and good on service. And its a nice and old hotel with history in its walls. My room had coffee/tea/biscuits - a really nice touch. I got "upgraded" from a single room to a double room, thats nice. Breakfast was continental or English and good. For the not so nice parts. Requested a quiet room with preferably a view. Ended up with a room almost in the "basement". One window towards the ground of the street outside. The room had several stairs to get from the entrance to the bed. It was ok for me, but the hotel could have sent a notice about that beforehand in case the guest cant handle it. The room is clean (or as clean as room with older carpets can be), but around the shower area it could have been cleaner (difficult to get by places, but still very visible). It was rather noisy from the neighboring room as its an old building. If you are noice sensitive this hotel might not be for you. Noice in the sense of hearing people talking, listening to music and so on. This review is based on room 103 that I had. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. The positive outweigh the negative and for the right price this is good value.…
We were booked into this hotel, They are a group of very good quality hotels, as with many businesses where they have fewer bookings this year they may have to offer one of their nearby hotels, Be very sure they are all very good, very clean and in 1st class condition, with all the facilities you would expect and some you would'tat this price. for example they all have a fridge in the room, they have very good iron and ironing board, great furnishings. The most important thing those is the staff, Have stayed over the years in about 5 of their hotels and the staff are very friendly while retaining a professional approach. They are all situated in the best areas to get about easily, with tube and bus routes almost at the door. Give them a try they are very good.
We booked this hotel through Wowcher but didn’t actually stay here. I couldn’t get through to the hotel by phone despite calling for 2 days at different times. I also emailed - no reply. All I wanted was confirmation of our stay. On the day of arrival, I received a call to say the hotel was overbooked and we were being moved to a sister hotel (which was great!)
All of the staff were friendly and supportive. Room is clean and furnished. The food is healthy and delicious. Shower has good water pressure. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff is quick, efficient, and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent.
Very friendly and accommodative staff, clean and tidy room with all the basic equipment one would need. Stayed there very shortly for business purposes so I really enjoyed its excellent location, the less than 20 min commute to the City, the walking distance to Paddington station (Heathrow express) and its proximity to the Hyde park and Notting Hill. I would decide to stay there again on my next trip to London, hopefully for a little longer.
