Because we were meeting up with others for a family event we stayed room only for three nights and went out for meals. Our room was perfect to return to as our schedule was hectic. It was at the back of the hotel with two windows overlooking the garden so we had no traffic noise or disturbance from passers by.... More

We stayed at here in mid August in a lovely room with 4 poster bed and original furnishings. It is totally charming, the staff lovely and the location second to none. there is a bus stop at the door and a number of other buses just 2 streets away if you do not want to walk. It is almost on... More

We stayed for 2 nights for our 10 years wedding anniversary and were very pleased at the level of quality this hotel was. It's in a great location and we were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go. Room was clean and well equipped with a comfy queen bed. We much preferred this old type of hotel to... More

Booked a three night stay here one month in advance. On arrival at Reception we were told to "use our other entrance two doors away". This turned out to be a completely different hotel - The Grange Whitehall. We enjoyed our stay there but would register our disappointment about the fact that our original booking was not honoured and no... More

For our this year's BBC Proms visiit we decided for the Grange Blooms Hotel and it was a good decision. The Hotel is easy to reach from Heathrow - Picadillily Line to Russel Square or Holbron Street and then a short walk. The room was spacious, especially for London, and clean. Personnel at reception and sercive were friendly and helpful.... More

I stayed in this lovely hotel for one night in July and it was great. Beautiful suite (I was upgraded on arrival without asking) looking out over a leafy garden. The noisiest thing was the rustle of the wind through the leaves on the trees. Fresh, cooked to order breakfast and very friendly staff. Sandy the receptionist was a star.

Looked at previous reviews and was worried. The room I had was an upgrade (206) lovely room, great staff and great sleep. Place could really do with aircon but was quiet with 1 window open. My colleague was in a smaller room which really wasnt great as he complained of heat. Lets get aircon!

Stayed here for one night and we had our room upgraded for free. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little warm but we slept fine. Great central location about a 15 min walk to Covent Garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

First the positives: 1. Comfy bed 2. Clean and tidy Now the negatives: 1. Stiflingly hot and no air con 2. The ceiling fan rattled like crazy so was too noisy to use. 3. The extractor fan in the bathroom was incredibly noisy. 4. Could hear noise from the other rooms. 5. The shower leaked onto an already very slippery... More

Nice little hotel very close to the British Museum. Book in advance for a good price. Excellent service with a surprisingly personal feel for a hotel chain. Avoid the expensive breakfast and walk round the corner to a local café.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
