The location is convenient and the hotel is what you would expect from a Hilton. No massive surprises, what was surprising was the issues I had following my stay. I had 2 rooms for 1 night earlier this week and realised that the amounts charged to my card were different to the rates I had reserved at. When I called them about it, the lady I spoke to kept trying to insist that it was a different amount because it was the credit card hold, I kept trying to explain that I was talking about that, but that I was referring to the 2 charges for the rooms, not the hold amount but she didn't seem to understand, couldn't help at all, and apparently I couldn't speak to someone else because they are very busy. It's thoroughly depressing that a company as big as Hilton can't manage to clear up what should be a simple thing without me wanting to pull my hair out.…
The welcome we received was absolutely lovely. This hotel is spot on with customer service. Every member of staff know what they have to do to make their guest feel welcome and appreciated. We were valued as a gold member and upgraded to the top floor. It was a shame the executive lounge was still closed but we understand the current situation. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Please can you thank George for us. He was absolutely amazing and so genuine and kind. Well done Hilton Canary Wharf for our wonderful stay :)
Pricey, but very comfortable ! Complimentary pimms on arrival! Bed comfy, water in rooms, unlocked fridge, tesco next door if you want to fill it! Didn't try cinnamon bar, but looked nice! Would use again!
Well situated in the financial district. Wouldn't call it tourist central but you are a short walk from the DLR and the tube station which is only 3 stops from London Bridge, and this Hilton is cheaper than the one at London Bridge. Usual good Hilton standard and staff are great. Room (executive) was on the 13th floor with a good view (of high-rises but hey ho). Room was very well fitted out and clean / well maintained. Nothing in minibar but having a fridge was a useful addition. Not much around the hotel with respect to bars and restaurants although the hotel has both. Near Tesco and Subway was all I found very nearby. Despite being upgraded to an executive room, I couldnt access the executive lounge (as I can at London Bridge), perhaps if I get some credit in here they will let me in... LOL. The cellular signal was poor in the room on the two networks I use (02 and Vodafone), could be the area or the building material. But the hotel WiFi was excellent, good coverage and throughput. Tried the restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant is quite soulless - wouldn't want to spend too much time in there. And if the bar is the same prices as the Hilton at London Bridge, I'd only want to drink there if somebody else was paying, very expensive! Decent selection of hot and cold food but the scrambled eggs were from powder. But they had smoked salmon which the Hilton at London Bridge never have. Decent coffee machines that provide hot coffee (the Hilton London Bridge machines are always warm at best.). All in all I would stay here again on business and travel to London bridge if materially cheaper than the Hilton at London Bridge. If I was on a short break and could afford the difference I would stay at London Bridge, the location there is great. …
Fab hotel and fab location. We were going to a gig at the o2 and it was only 1 stop away on the tube. A lovely walk from the tube station going over the Thames on a small bridge and then you’re at the hotel. We felt very special as we got a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival and a complimentary room upgrade which was a lovely treat for our night away! Lots of bars and places to eat within walking distance. We just bar hopped our way around Canary Wharf during the day! Lovely staff and lovely hotel. Would deffo recommend if you’re in the area.
The Hilton staff were excellent as usual. We enjoyed our stay. The food was nice. We had had to stay a few extra nights due to an emergency and the staff helped with some good rates. I'm really impressed that the standards are still very high.
Stayed at this hotel many times. Arrived early morning after a very long flight, and whilst a room wasn’t immediately ready, James and his reception team were awesome. They promised to contact us as soon as a room was ready and they did. Breakfast was great, rooms were lovely, good aircon. A pity that they do not have separate showers and baths though. Very centrally located in Canary Wharf. And a bonus was that their trusted concierge was still there since my last visit prior to Covid.
My husband and I have just returned from an excellent stay at the Hilton Canary Wharf. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nicola who was warm, welcoming and friendly. She made conversation about our day and seemed genuinely interested. We had gone to Mary Poppins that day and she was asking us about it and taking a real interest in what we had to say. She gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was a lovely touch after a long days travel. Once we got into our room, Nicola made a courtesy call to ensure everything was okay with our room. She couldn’t be more welcoming and we were very grateful to her for her efforts. She is a real asset to the Hilton team. Our room was very spacious, modernly decorated and clean. We ordered room service and it arrived within 30 minutes, the food was very tasty and there was a good choice of food on the in room menu. Breakfast the next morning was also delicious. There was a wide range of cold and hot food. We were seated quickly and the staff were efficient at taking away plates which were finished with. Upon check out it was great to see an express check out box. Staff also waved us off whilst we were using such. Overall we had an excellent stay and would return next time we stay in London.…
This was our 4th or 5th visit and having always been mega-impressed we were looking forward to going back again. As always, every member of staff with whom we came into contact was unfailingly helpful and polite, and the breakfast was among the best we have had anywhere, ever. However, what let it down on this occasion was the housekeeping. On entering our room we found there was no bottled water, although I have since discovered that others were offered this at reception when they arrived. Sadly we were offered nothing. But back to the room, or more specifically the bathroom. No bath mat, no sanitary bags, both of which are essentials in my opinion. On the second day we discovered that although the waste bins in both the bathroom and bedroom had been emptied, the bin liners had not been replaced. Neither had the tea and coffee been replenished, so my husband was unable to have his early morning cup of Earl Grey tea, which is his preferred choice - and bizarrely, although one of the mugs had been cleaned or replaced, the other, and the teaspoon, were still dirty. These may be small things, but I expect more from a four star hotel. I may also add that when our friend checked into her room she found it had not been cleaned AT ALL, with the previous occupant's dirty sheets and towels still in situ. However, this was all swiftly rectified and apologies forthcoming. All in all, still one of my favourite places to stay in London, so I shall doubtless be back!…
My 2nd stay at the hotel with young kids and the staff are super welcoming and accomdoating. The area by the check in for children to colour and pick goodies from whilst adults check in is genius. Breakfast is really good with a great buffet variety. We had a double interconnecting room and the space was great.
